POLYVINYL ALCOHOL FILM, AND CHEMICAL AGENT PACKAGE
A polyvinyl alcohol film is provided, which is highly transparent, and excellent in antistatic property and cold-water solubility. The polyvinyl alcohol film contains: (A) a polyvinyl alcohol resin; and (B) an ester of a C2 to C4 fatty acid (b1) and a polyhydric alcohol (b2); wherein the ester (B) is present in an amount of 1 to 4,000 ppm.
Package with integrated magnetic valve
A package for dispensing a fluent material contained in the package. The package can include a first polymeric sidewall having a first perimeter and a second polymeric sidewall having a second perimeter, the first and second polymeric sidewalls being joined at least along a portion of the first and second perimeters to define a flexible pouch having an interior compartment for a contained fluent material in an equilibrium pressure state. An opening permits fluid communication through the first opening upon the contained fluent material being in a positive pressure state greater than the equilibrium pressure state. The opening can have a magnetic valve, the magnetic valve having a first magnetic region and an opposing second magnetic region. The first magnetic region and second magnetic region can be in a separable magnetically contacting state to alternately permit and prevent fluid communication of the fluent material.

Ultra-violet fluorescing sealant
A sealing element that visually indicates when a sealing element has been opened or corrupted without destruction of the seal. Ultraviolet light passes through a scattering layer and is absorbed by a fluorescing layer, the fluorescing layer reemitting the light in the visual spectrum and thereby allowing a user to inspect the integrity of the sealing element without otherwise destroying the seal.

Flexible Bags and Products Therein With Extended Shelf Life
This invention relates to extending shelf life of food product such as wine packaged in flexible bags. Oxygen transport into the wine through the flexible-bag walls reduces the shelf life of the product. Similarly, oxygen in air trapped in headspace of a flexible bag packaged with the food product such as wine eventually dissolves into the wine, and consequently diminishing its shelf life. This invention relates flexible bags that provide inert gas cavities around the wine and in the headspace above the wine, and the process of making such flexible bags, such that the total oxygen content inside an unfilled (with product) flexible bag is less than 10%.
Sealed Break-Open Package Provided with A High-Precision Delivery Mechanism
A sealed break-open package; the sealed package has: a first sheet of semi-rigid plastic material; a second sheet of flexible plastic material superimposed on and sealed to the first sheet to define a sealed pocket that contains a dose of a product; and a pre-weakened area that is created in a central area of the first sheet for guiding, following bending of the sealed package, controlled breakage of the first sheet at the pre-weakened area so as to form an outlet opening for the product through the first sheet. The first sheet has a U-shaped protuberance that extends from a side of the first sheet outside of the pocket and is arranged at the pre-weakened area.
Packaging
The proposed product relates to the field of manufacturing packaging for primarily liquid, fatty, and frozen food products or for products that contain or release fats and moisture. The present packaging, having an overlapping seam with a sealed end face, is made of a shape-giving material that consists of a base material and a protective layer applied on one side of said base material. The protective layer is elongated relative to the base material, and at the place where the shape-giving material is joined in an overlapping fashion to form a seam, the elongated protective layer is connected on the inner side of the packaging to the adjoining layer of shape-giving material without the protective layer coming into contact with the end face surface of the shape-giving material, to protect an end face without thickening the material at an overlap point and without the overlap point being excessively rigid, as well as without using an additional protective polymer tape or an expensive base material having hydrophobic properties.
SHEET MATERIAL CONTAINER
A sheet material container (C) includes a containing portion (10a) that contains contents (96) and is formed of a layer sheet (120). The layer sheet (120) includes an inner sheet (123), an intermediate sheet (122) covering an outer side of the inner sheet (123), and an outer sheet (121) covering an outer side of the intermediate sheet (122), and is arranged on opposite sides with the containing portion (10a) between the opposite sides. At least parts of the outer sheet (121) and the intermediate sheet (122) include light transmitting portions (34a, 34b, 34c) that can transmit visible light. The inner sheet (123) or the contents (96) can be visually recognized through the light transmitting portions (34a, 34b, 34c) from outside the sheet material container (C).
