A tray for receiving sausages is provided. The tray includes cells which are adapted to substantially match the shape of sausages or other soft materials. The tray may be vacuum sealed to cause a relatively uniform top surface suitable for stacking. The tray may be sealed without pre-freezing the sausages and without causing significant deformation to said sausages upon thawing. The tray may be loaded in an automated manner without the use of robotic arms placing individual sausages into the tray.

POUCHED PRODUCTS

The disclosure provides pouched products configured for oral use, including a material within a porous pouch, where the porous pouch has four sides of small dimension, where the porous pouch has four sides of large dimension, and/or wherein the porous pouch has a shape other than square or rectangular, e.g., a rounded shape. The disclosure further provides methods of providing a modified mouthfeel with respect to conventional pouched products by providing pouched product in such sizes and/or shapes.

A trapped tray product packaging having a paperboard or a molded pulp tray trapped between a first panel and a second panel is provided. The first panel has an opening for placement of the tray. The tray includes a lip that is trapped between the first panel and the second panel. The first and second panels can be formed from paperboard.

METHOD FOR MAKING AN AIRTIGHT WRAPPER AND AIRTIGHT WRAPPER THUS OBTAINED

An airtight wrapper having an assembly wrapped by a wrapping sheet made of a weldable material creating a group of smoking articles obtained by:

positioning the folded wrapping sheet to contact walls, front rear and head wall of the assembly, with flaps protruding beyond bottom and lateral walls;

welding lower and upper flaps, and defining a transverse edge;

folding the welded transverse edge rotating it by 180° toward the front wall;

folding the upper and lower transverse flaps;

folding the upper and lower transverse flaps;

folding the rear and front longitudinal flaps, and partly also the transverse edge, toward the lower lateral walls, overlapping one on top of the other above the transverse flaps, and finally welding them to seal the airtight wrapper.

SPACING SUPPORT FOR PACKETS FOR SMOKING ARTICLES, SPACING KIT, PACKAGE CONTAINING SAID SPACING KIT AND METHOD TO ASSEMBLE A SPACING KIT
20210163216 · 2021-06-03 ·

A spacing support (11) and a spacing kit (10) for packets (100) of smoking articles configured to support in an orderly manner a plurality of packets arranged on two adjacent rows. The spacing support (11) comprises two containing drawers (12) arranged adjacent to each other and each defining a respective housing (13) for a corresponding row of packets, which extends in a longitudinal direction (X), and an access aperture (17) through which the packets (100) can be introduced and extracted from the housing (13). Each containing drawer (12) comprises a bottom wall (14) from which a pair of side walls (15) extends, each of these walls (14, 15) being configured to come into contact with a respective wall (101, 102) of the packet (100), wherein at least one of the side walls (15) comprises a plurality of positioning elements (18) projecting toward the inside of said housing (13), made as pre-cut fins (19) integrated into the side wall (15), and configured to delimit positioning compartments (26), in which each of said packets (100) is stably arranged and held in a static manner, in said longitudinal direction (X), with respect to said housing (13).

Opening configuration for shrink-wrapped package

Non-crosslinked polyolefin films or doped crosslinked polyolefin films (i.e., crosslinked polyolefin films that include a tear-alignment additive) may be used to shrink-wrap packages to create a wrapped package that is protected from tampering and damage but is also easy to open with little effort required by the customer. There is no need for perforations, and the films are quiet when torn, folded, cut, etc. Tear initiating cuts may be formed in the film. A tab may be placed over the film, and when the tab is pulled it applies enough force to start a pair of straight tears. The tears may be parallel or perpendicular to each other. The tears propagate in non-crosslinked polyolefin easily in the machine direction of the film as the tab continues to be pulled. In a doped crosslinked polyolefin, the tears propagate in the machine direction or perpendicular to the machine direction of the film.

PACKAGING METHOD FOR POLYCRYSTALLINE SILICON, DOUBLE-PACKAGING METHOD FOR POLYCRYSTALLINE SILICON, AND PRODUCING METHOD OF RAW MATERIAL FOR MONOCRYSTALLINE SILICON
20210070484 · 2021-03-11 · ·

This packaging method for polycrystalline silicon is for reducing contamination by surface organic impurities, in particular surface carbon impurities. After a packaging bag is filled with polycrystalline silicon, a portion of the packaging bag on the opening part side relative to a filled part where the polycrystalline silicon is filled and on the filled part side relative to a planned heat-seal part where the packaging bag will be heat-sealed is clamped by clamping rods such that no gas flows into the filled part, the planned heat-seal part is heat-sealed by sealing rods on both sides while clamped by the clamping rods, and the clamping rods are removed after the heat-sealing.

PACK OF TISSUE PAPER ROLLS AND METHOD

The pack of tissue paper rolls comprises a set of rolls having at least one layer of rolls and having a first base, a second base and a side surface extending from the first base to the second base of the set of rolls. A wrapping sheet completely envelops the set of rolls and a panel, with greater stiffness than the wrapping sheet, surrounds the side surface of the set of rolls and is arranged inside the wrapping sheet, between it and the rolls.

Package for food and related method of packaging

A food package having a heat-sealed cover composed of a lower plastic film and an upper plastic film which is distinct and separate from the lower plastic film is disclosed. The upper and lower films are collapsible, i.e., they can be creased and crumpled into a ball without effort or folded as a tissue paper. The lower film and upper film are heat-sealed to each other at respective perimeter edges to define a closed, watertight internal housing filled with a modified atmosphere. A tray, configured to house the food product, is inserted in the closed internal housing but is not fixed to the upper or lower film. The food packaging described herein allows a substantial reduction of plastic compared to those currently on the market, while guaranteeing its mechanical rigidity, and the long-term quality of the product. A method for producing the packaging is also disclosed.
