Mockup for dental cosmetic restoration and dental overlay device
Method for producing a mockup of a patient's dental cosmetic restoration, characterized in that it comprises a step (E4) of forming a file of digital data representing the dental mockup artificially presenting the restoration intended to be placed in the mouth and worn temporarily over at least part of the patient's dentition, and a step (E5) of fabricating the mockup directly from the file of digital data produced.

Bioactive adhesive system compositions and methods of use
A bioactive borate glass adhesive system is described for its composition and use in adhering a plurality of dental restorative components onto a tooth surface. The adhesive system comprises silanated borate bioactive glass particles and a biocompatible resin blend. The bioactive adhesive system functions as a non-degradable, permanent adhesive in tooth restoration in the presence of saliva. In addition, the bioactive borate adhesive system may be used for re-mineralization, de-sensitization and self-healing of dentin and enamel by releasing and depositing calcium and phosphate ions onto the exposed and damaged tooth surface.

System For Preparing Teeth For Restoration
A dental overlay device includes a base, connecting strut, and veneer holder. The base has a curvature in the form of an arch of a patient and defines a curved axis. The connecting strut has a first end attached to the base and a second end and extends in a generally orthogonal direction to the curved axis. The veneer holder has first and second ends and extends in a transverse direction to the direction the connecting strut extends. The second end of the connecting strut is attached to the veneer holder. A dental overlay device and veneer combination includes a first veneer and a second veneer prepared for mounting onto the plurality of teeth. Floss is configured for passing between the first veneer and the second veneer when the dental overlay device is mounted onto the plurality of teeth.
TOOTH RESTORATION SYSTEM AND METHOD
A tooth restoration method and a tooth restoration system are provided. The tooth restoration method includes: configuring a control module to obtain an image and tooth characteristic information of teeth through an image capturing module; configuring the control module to calculate and generate a characteristic parameter of the target tooth according to the image and the tooth characteristic information, and generate a 3D restoration file of the target tooth according to the characteristic parameter; configuring the control module to calculate and generate color information and candidate filling materials of the target tooth according to the image, the 3D restoration file and the filling material database, and compare the candidate filling materials with the characteristic parameter and the color information of the target tooth to generate a selected filling material matching the target tooth; and restoring the target tooth based on the selected filling material through a prosthetic technique.

SYSTEM AND METHOD FOR PRODUCING TEMPORARY DENTAL COVERINGS
A set of baseline stents of people's teeth of different sizes may be used for a process to create temporary dental coverings. A range of sizes of the baseline stents may range from a smallest size to a largest size. A measurement of a stone-based model formed from a mold taken of the patient's natural teeth and gums may be made using a measurement tool. The measurement may include measuring from a left-side tooth to a corresponding right-side tooth. In an embodiment, unique identifiers (e.g., “A”-“N”) may be given to each of the baseline stents, and the measurement tool may show an identifier when the measurement is made. The baseline stent may be used to augment the model used to form a patient-specific stent used to take an impression of the patient's prepped teeth. The temporary dental coverings may be sculpted, shined, and attached to the prepped natural teeth.
