20230089731 · 2023-03-23 · ·

A system for storing and dispensing a flowable multi-component composition contains a coaxial cartridge and a support structure. The coaxial cartridge has a hollow-cylindrical inner wall, a outer wall arranged coaxially around the inner wall, an inner chamber for a first component that is delimited radially by the inner wall, an outer chamber for a second component that lies radially between the inner wall and outer wall, and a front wall which firmly closes the two chambers on an end face of the cartridge and has a dispensing opening in each chamber. The support structure is designed to receive and hold the cartridge, and has a side wall shaped like a tube portion. An inner diameter of the side wall is varied or can be adjusted in the axial and/or radial direction of the support structure, adjusted when the cartridge is inserted and removed, or adjusted during the pressing-out process.

A coaxial cartridge for storing and discharging a flowable multi-component composition, contains a hollow-cylindrical inner wall and a hollow-cylindrical outer wall arranged coaxially around the inner wall. The coaxial cartridge has an inner chamber for a first component, which is delimited radially by the inner wall, and an outer chamber for a second component, which is arranged radially between the inner wall and the outer wall. The coaxial cartridge also contains a cartridge front wall, which firmly closes the inner and the outer chamber on one end face of the cartridge and has one discharge opening per chamber; an inner and an outer piston which each close the relevant chamber at the rear and are axially movable; and an integrated reinforcement embedded inside the outer wall or fastened to its surface and having a plurality of rings or spiral turns, made of a material that is stable against tensile stresses.

ENHANCED MOISTURE CONTROL DEVICES FOR THE PRESERVATION OF PRODUCTS IN CLOSED ENVIRONMENTS

Devices and methods for controlling humidity including an aqueous saturated solution of a salt and/or a sugar in combination with an additive in which all components of the saturated solution are food grade. The device may or may not include a container, such as a flexible pouch, encasing the aqueous saturated solution and/or an absorbent pad. The pouch or other container may be made of a material which is moisture permeable and liquid impermeable, for example, and the aqueous saturated solution further comprises a thickening agent. In some embodiments, the components of the aqueous saturated salt solution are separately contained in different compartments of the device container, and a user may activate the device to mix the components together.

ADJUSTABLE ADDITIVE DELIVERY SYSTEMS AND METHODS

An additive delivery system may incorporate a cartridge system, including a container cap and a reservoir assembly that provides for storage of an additive. The container cap includes a mixing nozzle for mixing of the additive with a base fluid as the base fluid flows from the base fluid container through the cartridge. A one-way valve prevents backflow of base fluid and/or mixed base fluid/additive from an area downstream of the mixing nozzle such that the base fluid supply remains in a pure state.

Reagent mixer and fluid control devices

An apparatus for preparing a reagent solution includes an enclosure and a container disposed within the enclosure. The container defines an internal cavity having a compressible volume and defines a passage providing fluidic communication between the internal cavity and the exterior of the container. Optionally, a compressible member is disposed within the internal cavity. A reagent is disposed within the internal cavity.

Container with a modular structure

Container with a modular structure consisting of an internal disposable assembly, or refill, comprising a glass vial, preferably intended to contain nail polish formulations, and a brush stem fixed through the glass vial lid, this disposable assembly designed to adapt into an external non-disposable assembly, comprising a lower safe handling base, having a cavity in which the vial is inserted, and a hollow upper body to externally grasp the vial lid to open and close the vial and, at the same time, to grasp the brush stem upper portion, providing appropriate handling of the thus formed brush assembly applicator, reducing the amount of discarded material, encouraging single-person use and safety.

Dispensing assembly including an additive mixing device

A dispensing system (2000), includes a container (900) containing a flowable base formulation (910) to be dispensed, an additive mixing device (2004), and an actuable pump engine (2002) which draws the flowable base formulation from the container and pumps it through the mixing device. The additive mixing device includes a body (2022) with an internal cavity (2052), an additive ingredient (2054) within the cavity, and a flow path/mixing chamber (2058) between an input and an output. With each pump of the device (2004) the additive ingredient is introduced into, and mixed with, a flow of the base formulation traveling through the mixing device. Multiple additive mixing devices (2004) may be interchangeable for different formulations, and the mixing devices may be refillable.

Waste Treatment Package and Formulation for Treating Toilet Waste
20230079803 · 2023-03-16 · ·

A waste treatment includes a package with compartments. A surfactant, an oxidizing agent, and, optionally, a liquid may be disposed within the compartments. The oxidizing agent is within a compartment that does not contain the surfactant or the liquid. A bursting force may unseal a sealed end of each compartment. The liquid flushes the surfactant and the oxidizing agent out of the package into a non-contact agitating toilet. A dual compartment package made with a fluidly disintegrable material may separate the surfactant from the oxidizing agent where the liquid may not be provided. The waste treatment may be mixed with a waste deposited within the non-contact agitating toilet. The package may disintegrate in the presence of the liquid to allow the reactive components to mix. A plurality of waste treatments may be connected. A perforated barrier may separate a first waste treatment from a second waste treatment.
