Solar Powered Warming Container Apparatus
A solar powered warming container apparatus for keeping food warm for prolonged periods of time includes a container body having a container sidewall, a container bottom, and an open container top side. The container body stores warm food. A plurality of heating coils is coupled within the container body. A lid has a lid bottom side is selectively engageable with the container sidewall to seal the container top side. The lid is fully separable from the container body. A solar panel is coupled to a lid top side. A converter is coupled within the lid and is in operational communication with the solar panel and with the plurality of heating coils. A power switch is in operational communication with the plurality of heating coils to selectively turn on or off the heating coils when the converter is supplying power to the plurality of heating coils.
POUCH FOR RETORT FOOD
The present invention relates to a pouch for retort food, and more particularly, to a pouch for retort food wherein the pouch is put into a microwave oven in a state where food is stored therein and is used for heating food, and from which steam generated during a cooking process may be properly exhausted, thereby improving the texture and taste of food and having reduced manufacturing costs.
Container with liner
A container for holding a food product. The container can comprise a flange comprising a central panel. An opening can extend in the central panel. The container further can comprise a sidewall comprising at least a panel foldably connected to the central panel and a denesting feature extending outwardly from the sidewall. The denesting feature can be for engaging a nested container positioned below the container in a stacked arrangement and for forming a denesting gap between the flange and the nested container.
IMPROVEMENTS TO INDIVIDUAL HEATING MEANS APPLIED TO BOXES, CHESTS, BACKPACKS, BAGS, THERMAL BAGS AND/OR THERMAL CHESTS FOR TRANSPORTING READY-TO-EAT FOOD
An individualized food heating applied to hot and/or cold food by the ‘delivery’ system having a thermal structure for electromagnetic-induction heating (10) installed in the internal parts of the Transport (20) and which is activated by one or more metal plate(s) (CP) installed (s) in the internal and/or external parts of the food packages (30) for the maintenance of the temperature and quality of the food and/or partial and/or complete cooking of food, during transport to the final path and/or at the food production site, as well as at the place where it will be served and consumed.
STAIN RESISTANT PACKAGING FILM FOR RETORT APPLICATIONS
To reduce the amount of staining that occurs during the in-package retort processing of food products, a packaging film is used including a white multilayer film, the white multilayer film having a sealing region on the exposed surface of the packaging film, a white region containing white pigment and a blocking region located between the white region and the sealing region, where the combined thickness of the sealing region and the blocking region is at least 70% of the thickness of the white multilayer film.

POD-BASED GRAIN POPPING APPARATUS AND METHODS OF POPPING GRAINS
A grain-popping machine and associated pod-based popping method is disclosed. The grain-popping is configured to receive a pod. Each pod includes a plurality of cells, with each cell preferably containing a single grain kernel or seed, flavoring, and a cooking medium such as oil or shortening. In a preferred embodiment, the pod is loaded into the grain-popping machine through a slot so that it is held in position adjacent to a heating element. The heating element is activated to begin a popping sequence. When each grain kernel or seed in the pod reaches popping temperature, it absorbs the flavoring in its cell and ejects through the bottom of the pod, which can be weakened to ease ejection, into a bowl positioned in a receiving area of the grain-popping machine. The pod is then removed and disposed of.
Food products and methods of preparing the same
A packaged product is disclosed that includes a cooking container, a first food product, and a packet filled with a second food product. The cooking container may have a sealed interior volume, and the first food product and the packet may be disposed within the sealed interior volume. The packet may be made of a water-soluble film that is edible. Also disclosed is a method of preparing an instant food product for consumption. The method may include removing a lid from a cooking container containing both a first food product and a packet filled with a second food product. The method may further include adding water to the cooking container to submerge and dissolve the packet.
PIZZA PRODUCT, PACKAGING FOR A PIZZA PRODUCT, AND METHOD OF COOKING AND DISTRIBUTION FOR A PIZZA PRODUCT
This invention relates to a pizza product that is prepared separately utilizing two types of doughs that are combined after heating. The doughs have different characteristics and are heated in combination with different ingredients. The heating process for both doughs is performed under different humidity conditions and may be performed simply with a conventional microwave oven. The present invention also includes an apparatus and method for the preparation of such pizzas, as well as an innovative delivery process, which allows delivery of the pizzas from a central delivery station—without the need of having one or more processing locations (e.g., a chain of physical stores) to prepare and/or cook the pizza product.
BIODEGRADABLE PACKAGING WITH INTEGRATED HEATING SYSTEM
Packaging devices such as bags, pouches, envelops, containers, and the like, can include an integrated heating system. The packaging devices described herein have multiple potential uses such as for the containment and heating of single-serving meals, drinks, massage oils, masks, body wax, anti-wrinkle eye creams, and the like, to be heated on the go. The packaging devices described herein can also be used for instant heating of food and/or beverages for backcountry use. In some embodiments, the packaging devices use fibrous natural materials (e.g., leaf skeletons and soft biomaterials like chitosan) along with silver nanowires to create completely biodegradable, and reusable self-heating packaging.
