DISPENSING PLUGS FOR FLEXIBLE FLUID CONTAINERS
In certain embodiments, a dispensing plug includes a fluid path having an inlet and an outlet. The dispensing plug also includes a valve adjustably disposed relative to the fluid path. The valve includes a first valve portion positioned in the fluid path between the inlet and the outlet. The valve also includes a second valve portion oriented to cause a first force to be exerted on the first valve portion. The first force biases the first valve portion toward closure of the fluid path.
Fluid Dispensing Device
A fluid delivery device, such as a syringe, is disclosed, including a bellows structure defining a first end, a second end, and a cavity therein, where compressing the bellows structure reduces a height of the syringe; a tip adjacent the first end, the tip defining a channel in fluid communication with the cavity; a post coaxial with the channel and disposed in the cavity adjacent the second end of the bellows structure; a laterally-extending flange adjacent the first end of the bellows structure, the flange defining a width greater than a width of the bellows structure; an adaptor adjacent the tip, the adaptor defining a wall and a threaded interface on an interior surface thereof; and a cap releasably engageable with the tip.
Hopper and medicine supply apparatus including the same
A hopper having a passage through which a medicine can be passed downward is provided. A part of a lower portion of the hopper is a deformable portion having flexibility, and the deformable portion is deformable so as to open and close the passage. According to this configuration, the deformable portion that is a part of the hopper is deformed to open and close the passage. Thus, there is no portion such as an opening and closing plate on which the medicine remains, thereby preventing a gap in which the medicine remains from being formed in the hopper, and preventing the medicine from easily remaining in the hopper.
Vacuum container and method for manufacturing same
The present invention relates to a vacuum container in which a periphery of an inner container, a periphery of a film container, and an inner container cover are bonded through ultrasonic wave fusion and a method of manufacturing the same.
CONTROLLED RELEASE CONTAINER
A controlled release container including a base. The base has a flexible diaphragm movable between a relaxed position and a depressed position. In the depressed position the flexible diaphragm reduces an interior volume of the container to dispense a dosage amount of material stored within the container. The dosage amount directly corresponds to an internal volume of the container displaced by moving the flexible diaphragm to the depressed position.
COMPRESSIBLE RESERVOIR FOR LIQUID MEDICAMENT
The present invention relates to a reservoir (10; 30; 40) for a liquid medicament (11), comprising: a first boundary portion (16; 36; 46) and a second boundary portion (18; 38; 48) forming a cavity (12; 32; 42) to receive the medicament, wherein the first boundary portion is sub-stantially opaque and flexible, and wherein the second boundary portion is substantially transparent and rigid.
IMPREGNATION PROCESS FOR A FIBROUS SUBSTRATE, A LIQUID MONOMER SYRUP FOR THE IMPREGNATION PROCESS, ITS METHOD OF POLYMERIZATION AND STRUCTURED ARTICLE OBTAINED THEREOF
The present invention relates to an impregnation process for a fibrous substrate, a liquid composition for implementing this process and the obtained impregnated fibrous substrate. The impregnated fibrous substrate is suitable for manufacturing mechanical or structured parts or articles. In particular the present invention deals with an industrial process for impregnating a fibrous substrate or long fibers with a viscous liquid composition containing mainly methacrylic, vinylic or acrylic components either in form of monomers or polymers. This viscous composition is called hereafter liquid monomer syrup. The invention concerns also a fibrous substrate pre-impregnated with said syrup which is useful for manufacturing mechanical or structured parts or articles. More particular the impregnation of fibrous substrate with the monomer syrup is achieved in a mould. The present invention concerns also manufacturing process for manufacturing mechanical or structured parts or articles and three-dimensional mechanical or structured parts obtained by this process.
CONTAINER WITH FLEXIBLE PORTION
A container (10) for a liquid product (14) comprises a container body (11) comprising a rigid portion (17) and a flexible portion (19) arranged as integral parts of the container body (11) and together defining a product space (21) inside of the container body (11); and a cap (13) connecting to an opening (12) of the container body (11), characterized in that the cap (13) comprises at least one side opening (29) arranged on a distal end of the cap. The flexible portion (19) is able to flex, for example, collapse as liquid exits the container (10).
DUAL DISPENSER FOR THE REDUCTION OF WASTED CONTENTS
A dual dispenser container is disclosed herein. The dual dispenser container includes a container, a pump dispenser at a top end of the container, and a second dispenser at a bottom end of the container. In some embodiments, the second dispenser is a flip-top dispenser. The dual dispensers on the container allow a user to utilize the pump dispenser until the contents in the container become too depleted to adequately use the pump dispenser, at which time the second dispenser can be used to dispense the remaining product from the bottom end of the container.
