PACKAGE FOR DISPOSABLE COATED ACUPUNCTURE NEEDLE
Disclosed is a package for a disposable coated acupuncture needle, wherein the package is made up of disposable coated acupuncture needles (1), a packaging box (2) and a sealed bag (3). A vacuum packaging method may be used in the package to seal the packaging box containing the acupuncture needles, so as to perform sterilization via high-energy electron or isotope irradiation. When in use, the seal bag (3) is torn off, a drawing strap (16) is pulled so as to pull out the package box (2), a support (6) is folded to expose an acupuncture needle handle (13), and then the disposable coated acupuncture needle (1) can be used for conducting sterile operation. The disposable coated acupuncture needle has the advantages that multiple acupuncture needles can be packaged in the same package box and can be conveniently taken for use; a user can less contaminate the other needles when taking and using a small number of acupuncture needles in the package box, and the sterile operation is facilitated.
PACKAGING FOR DIP TUBES
A packaging pouch for storing and/or transporting one or more dip tube assemblies is provided. The pouch includes a front side sealably and fixedly attached to a back side along a first sealed edge, a second sealed edge, and a sealed end. The front side and back side define an opening at an end opposite the sealed end. A plurality of welds extend over at least a portion of the length of the pouch from the sealed end towards the opening, wherein generally adjacent welds define cavities for dip tube storage. Individual dip tubes are held separated and out of contact with each other within individual cavities, reducing or preventing generation of particulates or other contaminants. The packaging pouch is sealed to provide additional protection. Related packaging systems and methods are also disclosed.
Outer cover of a pen needle for a drug delivery pen
A pen needle assembly, comprising an outer cover having an open end, a lid removably connected to the open end of the outer cover, a pen needle disposed in the outer cover, and connecting members disposed on opposite sides of the outer cover. Also disclosed is a pen needle assembly, comprising an outer cover having an open end, a lid removably connected to the open end of the outer cover, a pen needle disposed in the outer cover, and connecting members disposed on opposite sides of the outer cover, wherein a plurality of pen needle assemblies are connected adjacent to each other via the connecting members.

Sterilizing Assembly
A sterilizing assembly for on-demand dispensing of sterilized writing utensils includes a housing, which defines an interior space. The housing has a first slot and a second slot positioned in a top and a bottom thereof, respectively. A sanitizing unit and a dispensing unit are engaged to the housing and are positioned in the interior space. The sanitizing unit sterilizes a contaminated writing utensil inserted into the housing through the first slot. The dispensing unit will dispense a sterilized writing utensil from the housing through the second slot. A sensor engaged to the bottom of the housing detects a presence of a hand proximate to the second slot. The sensor is operationally engaged to the dispensing unit and thus is positioned to signal the dispensing unit to dispense the sterilized writing utensil.
