Water bottle with dosage in a blister pack

A solid dosage preparation is provided with a bottle of water. The solid dosage preparation is contained in a safe and sanitary blister package and attached by means of a shrink band to the closure of the bottle. The shrink band provides a tamper-indicating seal for the both the bottle and blister contents. An advantage of the design is that it does not require customization of bottle and closure tooling, and thereby provides a simple and cost-effective means for combining solid and liquid materials in a unitary package. An additional advantage is the robustness of the tamper-indicating system and methodology.

Troche mold assembly

A troche mold assembly includes a cover defining a receiving area and a tray removably positioned in the receiving area. The tray includes a frame having a top side and a bottom side opposite from the top side. The frame defines a plurality of cells, and each cell is configured to receive a medicament. The tray also includes a plurality of buttons. Each button is within a corresponding cell and is between the top side and the bottom side of the frame. In some aspects, wherein each button includes a center portion, a first hinge line adjacent to the cell wall, and a second hinge line between the first hinge line and the center portion. In various aspects, the cover includes a locating rib, and the tray is removably positioned within the receiving area such that the locating rib contacts the top side of the frame.

A bottle, especially a pharmaceutical bottle, configured to facilitate the withdrawal of goods present in the bottle in the form of pieces, the bottle being closed by a lid that consists of at least two layers: a cover layer and an outer layer. The cover layer, which may be a multilayer structure, is firmly sealed to the peripheral, circular sealing edge of the pharmaceutical bottle along said sealing edge, and includes a separation line off-set from the center of the circle. The outer layer, which may also be a multilayer structure, is connected to the cover layer across the entire surface thereof in such a way that one layer can be peeled off. The separation line of the cover layer has a concave section in the portion thereof that is next to the sealing edge, so as to form a flap section when the outer layer is peeled off.

A package (1, 101, 201, 301, 401) comprises a housing (2, 102, 202) and a slide (3, 103, 203) which is slidably accommodated in the housing in a sliding direction (PI). The slide comprises a bottom wall (17), side walls (18-21) connected to the bottom wall as well as at least one flange-shaped upper edge (22) spaced from the bottom wall, which is connected to the side walls. The housing is provided with at least one recess (14, 15), in which at least one projection connected to the slide can be positioned for at least locking the slide in position in the housing. The projection can be moved out of the recess against spring force, after which the slide can be moved in the sliding direction in the housing. The flange-shaped upper edge comprises two parts that extend parallel to the sliding direction, wherein each part is provided with at least one hook-shaped element (27, 327), while the housing comprises two side walls (5, 6), wherein each side wall is provided with at least one recess, wherein a recess and a hook-shaped element located at a first side wall are staggered, seen in the sliding direction, relative to a recess and a hook-shaped element located at a second side wall. The hook-shaped elements of the flange-shaped upper edge can be moved out of the recesses against the spring force of the flange-shaped upper edge.

MEDICATION PACKAGING AND DISPENSING SYSTEM

A medication packaging and dispensing system is provided. The system may include a plurality of medication booklets containing medication and a tray that is configured to retain the medication booklets. Each medication booklet may include a sequential tab assembly of pull tabs that aligns with a plurality of front cutouts and a plurality of back cutouts. This alignment configuration facilitates dispensing the medication from the medication booklet. The tray may include a riser that extends from a bottom wall of the tray at an oblique angle, and a first guide panel including a plurality of linear stops. The oblique angle may correspond to a pitch of the first guide panel. The riser and the plurality of linear stops may cooperate to maintain the medication booklets in a staggered configuration that is substantially parallel to the bottom wall of the tray. The system may further include a container for retaining the tray.
