Mobile medical drug management systems and methods
Mobile systems and methods are adapted to control and document prehospital patient care reports and communication of patient status to a receiving medical treatment facility. The systems and methods relate to systems and methods for managing, recording, and administering drugs such as narcotics in an ambulatory and/or emergency environment.
TOUCHLESS SYSTEM FOR DISPENSING PRODUCT SAMPLES
A system is disclosed for dispensing a product sample to a consumer that includes a storage compartment for holding a plurality of spherical pods each containing a product sample in a closely-packed assemblage, a dispensing area communicating with the storage compartment and including an access port accessible by a consumer to obtain a single spherical pod, a dispensing wheel mounted for rotation adjacent the dispensing area for transferring a single spherical pod from the storage compartment to the access port, and an agitator wheel mounted for movement within the storage compartment to agitate the spherical pods within the storage compartment so as to reduce friction between adjacent spherical pods in the closely-packed assemblage and promote movement of pods from the storage compartment towards the dispensing wheel.
System and method for digitally translating natural language prescription medication label to programmatically operable structure for use with smart pill containers
A smart pill container and system integrating the same, combined with a method for digitally translating natural language prescription medication into a programmatically operable structure and form for use by the smart pill container system, where the digital translation includes the abstraction of a prescription frequency characteristic into a number of “slots” and the abstraction of a prescription temporary characteristic by creating an array of “as of” date and value pairs, allowing for the building of a patient's prescription schedule, where the smart pill container has a number of pill wells for storing different doses of medication, and where based on the prescription schedule, an opening in the pill container provides at least one user with access to the medication stored in a particular one of the pill wells at a given dosing time, and where a platform associated with the pill container provides instructions for dosing such medication and monitors use of the pill container for compliance with the prescribed medical regimen.
TAMPER EVIDENT BLISTER PACKAGING
A tamper evident package comprises a blister assembly defining at least one cavity, the opening of the at least one cavity being at least partially closed by a membrane. A sleeve housing the blister assembly is provided, the sleeve having a top side and a bottom side, the bottom side having a contact window that is aligned with the cavity. In addition, a package integrity feature is applied to the bottom side and covers the contact window. The package integrity feature is further applied to the membrane covering the cavity through the contact window.
Stand up device
In accordance with one or more embodiments of the invention, a stand up device is presented, including a substantially ring-shaped grip portion, a height adjustment tube, a frame, a securing mechanism, and a plurality of legs. The stand up device provides additional support when installed with a mattress, and facilitates getting up from, and standing up from, a bed.

Dosing device and system
A dosing device or system for dispensing tablets, which can include at least one active ingredient for an automatic washing process, into an automatic washing machine, wherein the dosing device or system is for dispensing one or more, but not all, of the tablets at once into the automatic washing machine, and wherein the dosing device or system can be for dispensing only one tablet at once.
Method for dispensing discrete medicaments, a test station for testing a feeder unit, and a method for determining a fill level of a feeder unit
The invention relates to a method for step dispensing discrete medicaments from a feeder unit, wherein the feeder unit comprises a container holding said medicaments, and a dispensing mechanism configured for receiving the medicaments from the container and selectively dispensing the medicaments from the feeder unit, wherein the dispensing mechanism comprises a singulating body with a plurality of singulation chambers; and a first release member arranged below the singulating body and provided with a release opening, wherein the first release member and the singulating body are movable with respect to each other, the method comprising the steps of: moving the singulating body and the first release member relative to each other into an aligned position in which one of the plurality of singulation chambers is aligned with the release opening; when the singulating body is in the aligned position, stopping relative movement between the singulating body and the first release member; maintaining the singulating body stationary with respect to the first release member for a predetermined waiting period to allow any medicaments accommodated in the aligned singulation chamber to fall through the release opening.
