The multi-purpose lid includes a lid frame configured to match the open end of the hollow container, a filtered lid having a first open and a first closed position and a plurality of filter holes through its surface, an outer lid having a second open and a second closed position and a solid surface and positioned to cover the filtered lid when the filtered lid is in the first closed position and the outer lid is in the second closed position, and a hinge coupled between the lid frame and both the filtered lid and the outer lid, the hinge permits the filtered lid to move between the first open and the first closed position and the outer lid to move between the second open and the second closed position.

A plurality of chutes is fixed to the container assembly and each slopes downward and outward from a chute input, located under a central portion of the hoppered floor, to a corresponding chute output. A distributor assembly mounted under the discharge opening receives granular material from the discharge opening and directs same into any one of the chute inputs. When loaded on a gooseneck trailer the container extends over the hitch assembly providing increased volume and capacity.

BULK MATERIAL DISPENSING SYSTEM

The present system is used for metered dispensing of bulk material. The system includes a hopper containing the bulk material, a base supporting the hopper, and a gate removably interposed between a hopper outlet and a base outlet. The gate rotates between positions either allowing or preventing flow of the bulk material from the hopper outlet to the base outlet. An impeller is located inside of the hopper, extending from an inner surface of the hopper to agitate the bulk material before, during, or after dispensing to ensure the hopper outlet is not blocked.
