A shaker device includes a storage body, a lid, and a measurement system. The storage body also includes an opening and a hollow area. The storage body is configured to retain and selectively dispense an amount of a material disposed in the shaker device. The opening is disposed on a terminal end of the storage body. The lid is selectively disposed over the opening. The measurement system is configured to identify an amount of the material within the shaker device.

A granulated nutritional supplement dispensing machine extracts single-serving doses from a multi-serving supplements cartridge for delivery as a drinkable solution. A lead serving chamber is pierced so that its powered contents drain into a mixing cup together with a metered quantity of water from an integrated water tank. A vibrator unit assists drainage of the granulated materials from the lead serving chamber. The mixing cup is rotated at high speed to blend the water and supplements into a slurry. The supplements cartridge is indexed after (or before) use so that an unopened serving chamber is presented each time for extracting its supplements. This enables partially-used supplements cartridges to be used in the machine, as is conducive in multiple-user households. The supplements cartridge is configured with read-write data capability to indicate whether or not the contents of each serving chamber have been emptied.

A packaging system for packaging granular food items for shipment includes a plurality of granular food item bags, each granular food item bag having a side surface. A folder has at least one crease with a first half having a first inner surface on one side of the crease and a second half having a second inner surface on an opposing side of the at least one crease. The side surface of each granular food item bag is attached to the first inner surface of the first half of the folder and the granular food item bags are arranged in and NxM array on the first inner surface of the first half of the folder. The folder is then folded along the at least one crease so the second inner surface of the second half of the folder is folded over the granular food item bags attached to the first inner surface.

A packaging system for packaging granular food items for shipment includes a plurality of granular food item bags, each granular food item bag having a side surface. A seasoning shaker assembly for storing a dispensing a variety of food seasonings includes a cylinder that has a pair of chambers to contain a food seasoning. A first closure is removably attached to the cylinder and the first closure has a foraminous surface to dispense the food seasoning positioned in the respective chamber. A second closure is removably attached to the cylinder and the second closure has a foraminous surface to dispense the food seasoning positioned in the respective chamber.

A seasoning shaker assembly for storing a dispensing a variety of food seasonings includes a cylinder that has a pair of chambers to contain a food seasoning. A first closure is removably attached to the cylinder and the first closure has a foraminous surface to dispense the food seasoning positioned in the respective chamber. A second closure is removably attached to the cylinder and the second closure has a foraminous surface to dispense the food seasoning positioned in the respective chamber.

A snack bag assembly for consuming a snack product without touching the snack product includes a bag containing a snack product and a flap that is disposed in the bag. The flap is positioned inside the bag and the flap is extendable outwardly from the bag when the bag is opened such that the flap defines a chute. Moreover, the chute facilitates the snack product to be poured from the bag. In this way the chute facilitates a user to consume the snack product without having to touch the snack product with their hands.
