Dispensing Apparatus
20170232213 · 2017-08-17 · ·

Dispensing apparatus is provided for delivering and/or dispensing a pre-determined amount of a product in use. The apparatus includes dispensing means having inlet means for allowing product to enter the dispensing means in use, outlet means for allowing product containable within the dispensing means in use to be dispensed therefrom during a dispensing action of the apparatus, and channel means provided between the inlet means and the outlet means for allowing product to move between the inlet means and the outlet means in use. Recess means are defined in the channel means. The dimensions of the recess means define or substantially define the pie-determined amount of product that can be delivered through the outlet means for each dispensing action of the apparatus. The inlet means and/or at least one aperture defined in the dispensing means is arranged and/or is of such dimensions that excess product contained in the channel means that cannot fit into the recess means is able to pass through said inlet means and/or said at least one aperture and out of the channel means in use prior to a dispensing action of product from the outlet means.

Device for storing and dispensing at least one bulk product

Disclosed is a storage and dispensing device which includes: —a container for at least one bulk product in the form of a rigid or semi-rigid box used to package the bulk product from a production and/or packaging location to a sales point, the container including at least one opening configured to allow the bulk product to flow out of the container, —a dispensing system which has an orifice and a closing unit that is movable between an open state, in which it at least partially frees up the orifice and allows the bulk product to flow, and a closed state, in which it closes off the orifice and prevents the bulk product from flowing, —a slide link ensuring a reversible connection between the container and the dispensing system positioned in line with the opening of the container.

A bulk material storage container assembly for storing and unloading particulate material includes a storage vessel adapted to hold particulate material. A discharge port is in fluid communication with the storage vessel and with a discharge port outlet. The discharge port is also sized and shaped to facilitate bridging of particulate material. A shaft is mounted within the storage vessel adjacent to the discharge port and adapted for reciprocal movement with respect to the discharge port. A rake is mounted on said shaft and adapted to disaggregate particulate material that has bridged proximate the discharge port as the shaft is reciprocated with respect to the discharge port.

VIBRATORY FLOOR WITH CONTROLLED ATMOSPHERE, FOR COHESIVE PRODUCTS
20170225914 · 2017-08-10 ·

The invention relates to a vibratory floor made up of shaker modules protected against the entry of dust, and capable of emptying cohesive products. The inner volume (10) of each module is connected by means of a pipe (14) to an air or clean gas volume (19). Each module past the first row is provided with an anti-pressure device (46) made up of an anti-pressure plate (47) situated above the motor cover (44), supported by two flanges (48) and (49) resting on stationary parts (36) on either side of the module. The modules thus formed are protected against the entry of dust, and effectively emptying any cohesive product from silos, vessels, railroad cars or any other containers, without human or mechanized intervention.

SYSTEMS AND METHODS FOR SAFELY TRANSPORTING GRANULAR MATERIAL
20170225874 · 2017-08-10 · ·

Systems and methods are provided for safely and efficiently transporting granular material. In one embodiment, a container for granular material is provided. The container can have a top plate and a bottom plate that are coupled to one another via one or more high-strength fabric sleeves. The bottom plate can include a discharge valve for discharging the granular material in the container. The container can also include a discharge bladder that, when inflated, biases granular material within the container toward the discharge valve. The container can also include at least one barrier positioned proximate the discharge valve such that the barrier prevents at least a portion of the discharge bladder from entering the discharge valve. The barrier can allow sand or other granular material to pass through the barrier and exit through the discharge valve.
