Uncontaminated garment packing

A packaged garment includes a garment and a sealed bag. The garment has a torso portion, a sleeve portion connected to the torso portion, and a leg portion connected to the torso portion. The garment has an outer surface and an inner surface opposite the outer surface. The sealed bag contains the garment with the sleeve portion folded onto the torso portion, a portion of the sleeve portion folded at least once underneath the sleeve portion between the sleeve portion and the torso portion, and the leg portion folded onto the torso portion. The garment is manipulated so that the inner surface of the torso portion faces outward and the torso portion forms an inner space containing the sleeve portion and the leg portion.

SYSTEM AND METHOD TO AUTOMATE FOLDING AND PACKAGING AN ITEM FOR SHIPPING

An automated system for packaging an item includes a pallet, a packaging station and a controller. The pallet supports both the item and a packaging layer. The package is formed with the packaging layer. The packaging station folds the item and the packaging layer such that the item is enclosed within the packaging layer. The controller controls operation of the system. The item may be for example a textile, a digitally printed textile and/or a garment.

The air supply unit dehumidifies air in a room that communicates with the receiving space in the state in which the door is open.

Apparatus for warming cloths in a portable box. The warming box includes a heater assembly with slots configured to receive multiple packages of cloths. The slots are defined by panels that have embedded heaters. Heaters are also positioned at the bottom of the slots. Two temperature switches control the heaters in order to maintain the temperature of the packages with specified limits. One temperature switch is positioned above the slots on an inside surface of the lid. The other switch is located at the bottom of one of the slots. The lid also includes a tilt switch that de-energizes the heaters when the lid is opened. The warming box has feet configured to mate with corresponding recesses in the lid, thereby making the boxes stackable, such as when used with a docking station. The docking station has a wiring harness that provides power to each warming box.

Each of the chamber covers has an identification marking on a top surface of each of the chamber covers. The identification marking can include, but not limited to children names, sock sizes, sock lengths, sock colors and a myriad of other group identifiers.

In the packaging according to the invention, the band is tied around the pile so as to keep it together and it is received in the recesses of the flat core. The invention also relates to a method for packaging textile articles.
