FLORAL WRAPPER
Various floral wrapper systems to hold plant/floral arrangements are provided. In one version, the floral wrapper includes a protective outer sheet; and a decorative inner sheet affixed to the inner surface of the protective outer sheet. The protective outer sheet can be folded about the decorative inner sheet to form a pocket for supporting a floral arrangement therein. In another version, the floral wrapper includes a first sheet with a portion removed to form a side and a second sheet with a portion removed to form a side. The first and second sheets are affixed to each other with the first and second sheets partially overlapping each other and with the formed side of the first sheet and the formed side of the second sheet aligned along a line. Additional sheets can be added to modify the structure and ornamental appearance of the floral wrapper.
Container For Flowers And Method Of Operation Thereof
Disclosed is a container suitable for holding objects such as flowers and which may include a body having at least one wall defining a cavity. The at least one wall may include openings separated apart from each other. A tensioner may pass through the openings. A platform may be situated within the cavity and coupled to the tensioner so as to receive a force from the tensioner when a tension is applied to the tensioner. This force may be operative to lift the platform and the flower coupled thereto so that the flower partially or fully extends from the cavity while at least a portion of the platform remains in the cavity.
Packaging system for shipping floral arrangements
A packaging system for shipping floral arrangements includes an elongated presentation box sized to hold a floral arrangement, such as a dozen roses. The presentation box includes two long side panels, a floor panel extending between the side panels, head end and a stem end panels each extending between the side and floor panels, a top opening defined by the side and end panels, and an elongated inner lid hingedly connected on one of its long sides to one of the side panels. The inner lid extends longitudinally from a first end adjacent to the stem end panel to a second end spaced away from the head end panel such that it folds over only a portion of the top opening and creates a presentation opening bounded by the head end panel, side panels and the second end of the inner lid for displaying the flowers of the floral arrangement.
Modular potted plant shipping box
A modular potted plant shipping box is an apparatus that protects a potted plant throughout a shipment process while preserving the structure of the plant. The apparatus includes an outer box, a stopper frame, a stabilizing frame, and a receptacle. The outer box contains and protects the stopper frame, the stabilizing frame, the receptacle, and a plant housed within the receptacle. The stopper frame maintains a desired position of the stabilizing frame, and consequently the receptacle, within the outer box. The stabilizing frame maintains the desired position of the receptacle within the outer box. The receptacle houses the plant. The apparatus may further include a removable compartment that houses a variety of items that may compliment the plant housed by the receptacle. The receptacle is positioned within the stabilizing frame, and the stopper frame is positioned in between the stabilizing frame and a main opening of the outer box.
System and method for transporting and storing post-harvest fruits, vegetables and other perishable commodities under controlled atmospheric conditions
A system and method for transporting and storing post-harvest fruits, vegetables and other perishable commodities under controlled atmospheric conditions is provided. One or more transportable vacuum containers are packed with the perishable commodity. Thereafter, the controlled atmospheric condition is created within the container. The atmospheric condition is maintained while the container is transported from one location to another. Part of the controlled atmospheric condition includes the formation of a vacuum within the container. Internal structure is provided within the container to resist collapse of the container when the vacuum is formed therein. A plurality of containers can be provided. A central control, coupled to each of the containers can be provided to maintain the desired atmospheric condition within each of the containers.
Rod that traps creatures safely and monitors their well-being
This invention includes several variations of a machine for catching small creatures unharmed, particularly small fish and other aquatic creatures. Most embodiments include a hollow container, attached to a specially designed fishing rod via an insulated fishing line containing electrical wires. The user can lower the insulated fishing line into water and wait for a creature to swim into the hollow container, then the user can use electronic controls to remotely snap the hollow container shut, hopefully trapping the creature alive and unharmed within. The invention also makes a fun and interesting tool for children. Embodiments of the invention include the ability to monitor the temperature and other conditions inside the container, and also the ability to communicate remotely with the container, and monitor the conditions therein, through a program downloaded on the user's computer or phone.
