REED STORAGE APPARATUS FOR HUMIDITY CONTROL
An apparatus and method for storing reeds. The apparatus includes a tray having a first platform and a second platform opposite from the first platform where each platform includes a plurality of reed passages, an inner recess between the first and second platforms, and a plurality of ventilation apertures on the first and second platforms. The tray may be removably configured within an airtight container. A method for storing reeds includes positioning a humidity-control insert within an inner recess of a tray, having a first platform, a second platform opposite from the first platform, an inner recess between the first and second platforms, and a plurality of reed passages on the first and second platforms, wherein each of the plurality of reed passages may include ventilation apertures. The method further includes placing a reed within one of the reed passages and securing the reed with an elastic band.
Devices and methods for blast containment
Devices and methods for blast/fire containment are disclosed herein. Devices include containers designed to contain and/or mitigate high energy events such as blasts from explosions or thermal runaways. The containers include a body that is built to define an interior chamber shaped to receive an explosive device or a device susceptible to thermal runaway. The container comprises a plurality of substructures that are arranged in a layered sequence to provide the desired effect. The substructures act in concert to decouple the shock load to the main containment structure using shock decoupling with energy dissipation and attenuation technology, having a highly deformable polymer structure, and managed venting. In thermally dominated events, such as a runaway LI battery fire, a crushable medium present in one or more layers of the container presents a significant thermal barrier and contains the fire.
Retail packaging for angular brush
Packaging for protecting a brush comprises a box and a brush. The brush has bristles forming a particular shape, and the box defines a nose with a corresponding shape for accommodating the bristles without bending or impacting the bristles, whereby the brush holds its form while packaged. The brush preferably is an angular brush. The box includes a lid by which the brush is secured, with a handle of the brush extending through an opening in the lid.
Hinge assembly and earphone box
A hinge assembly comprises a first connecting member, a second connecting member, a first shaft, a second shaft, and a clockwork spring. The first connecting member includes a first pivot portion. The second connecting member includes a second pivot portion. The first shaft is pivotally connected to the first pivotal portion of the first connecting member and the second pivotal portion of the second connecting member. The second shaft is configured on the first connecting member and spaced from the first shaft. The clockwork spring includes a first end and a second end away from the first end; the first end fixed to the second shaft rod, the second end fixed to the second connecting member. When the second connecting member pivots with respect to the first connecting member, the arrangement of the clockwork spring can provide a more stable pivoting force for the second connecting member.
SAW BLADE CADDY
A disposable cut resistant glove, including a body, a plurality of fingers attached to the body, a thumb attached to the body, and a plurality of strips of para-aramid synthetic fiber disposed over and around the plurality of fingers and the thumb.
Reclosable package with anti stake latches
A reclosable package for an article may include a base with a planar floor defining an article-retaining cavity and raised sidewalls extending about the perimeter forming part of the article-retaining cavity with a cover with raised sidewalls coupled to the base configured to move between an open position and a closed position. The sidewalls may form a double wall about the perimeter of the base with a channel that remains open when the cover is disposed in the closed position. A plurality of projections extending from at least one sidewall of at least one of the cover and base and a plurality of notches in at least one sidewall of at least one of the cover and base keep the cover closed as the projections insert into the notches with a snap fit engagement.
Apparatuses and Methods for Packaging Surfboards and Other Objects
An apparatus for packaging at least one surfboard includes an outer enclosure. The packaging apparatus further includes a plurality of edge frames supported directly or indirectly by the outer enclosure. The edge frames are configured to support the surfboard, directly or indirectly. Optionally, the packaging apparatus may also have a plurality of stabilizers affixed to the outer enclosure, where the plurality of edge frames have at least a first edge frame and a second edge frame, the first edge frame abuts at least two of the plurality of stabilizers, and the second edge frame abuts at least two of the plurality of stabilizers.
CONTAINER FOR SHIPPING CHAIRS, SHIPPING ASSEMBLY AND METHOD FOR PACKING CHAIRS FOR SHIPPING
A container for shipping chairs includes a floor and first and second side walls having bottoms hingedly connected to opposite sides of the floor. First and second holders configured to engage the bottom of first and second chairs, and first and second mounting members are disposed on the first and second side walls. First and second straps extend between the first and second mounting members and the first and second chairs. A shipping assembly and method for packing chairs for shipping are also provided
POWERING DOWN OF HEAD MOUNTED DISPLAY BASED ON MAGNETIC SENSOR DETECTION
A head mounted display (HMD) includes a magnetic sensor to produce a sensor signal responsive to detecting a magnet within a first threshold distance. The HMD also includes a circuit operatively coupled to the magnetic sensor. The circuit determines that the HMD is to be placed in a storage mode responsive to receiving the sensor signal from the magnetic sensor. The circuit powers down components of the HMD responsive to determining that the HMD is to be placed in the storage mode.
