STORAGE CONTAINER FOR TAB LEAD, AND COMBINATION OF TAB LEAD AND STORAGE CONTAINER
A container for a tab lead includes a main body part configured to contain a plurality of tab leads and a cover part configured to cover the main body part. The main body part has a pocket that has an inverted quadrangular pyramidal trapezoid shape having a bottom surface and four side surfaces, in which an area of an opening at an upper end of the pocket is larger than an area of the bottom surface. The pocket is configured such that a volume of a region occupied by portions, which are below an upper end of an insulating films of the plurality of tab leads, of the plurality of tab leads in a state in which the plurality of tab leads are contained in the pocket is included within a range of 70% to 90% of a volume of the pocket.
STABILIZATION OF COLLAGEN SCAFFOLDS
Shape-stabilized collagen scaffolds and methods of obtaining such stabilized scaffolds are disclosed. Stroma can be harvested, for example, from human or porcine corneal stroma. The stroma can be shaped during excision or in a separate step after excision. Following shaping (and preferably decellularization), the excised stroma portion is subject to pressure, force or vacuum to reduce fluid content and then irradiated or otherwise treated to induce crosslinking of collagen chains or fibrils. Various sources of energy can be employed to induce peptide bond crosslinking of collagen including, for example, ultraviolet (UV) radiation. The scaffolds can also be selectively densified or patterned. The invention is particularly useful in forming stable lenticules for intracorneal implantation in additive ocular surgery.
TOP-OPENING SUBSTRATE CARRIER
A top-opening substrate carrier comprises a container body, a door member and at least one latching mechanism. The latching mechanism includes a rotary drive member, a first driven cam, a second driven cam, a first connecting rod, a second connecting rod, two longitudinal latching arms and two lateral latching arms. The first driven cam and the second driven cam are disposed at two sides of the rotary drive member. When the rotary drive member is rotated by force, it links and activates the first connecting rod and the second connecting rod to synchronously drive the first driven cam and the second driven cam to rotate, thereby driving the two longitudinal latching arms and the two lateral latching arms to project towards locking holes of the container body and locked, or retract from the locking holes of the container body and unlocked.
CONTACT LENS PACKAGE WITH DRAINING PORT
A contact lens package includes a base having a proximal end and a distal end, a solution well between the proximal end and the distal end, a contact lens support in the solution well, a top opening between the proximal end and the distal end and over the contact lens support, and a via through a wall of the base adjacent the well, the via providing a fluid exit for solution within well. A removable lid overlying the top opening may be removably affixed over the top opening such that a user may remove the lid to access the contact lens. Using this package, fluid can be drained away from the contact lens in the package before removal from the package by a user, thus providing good adhesion between a user's finger or applicator and the lens over prior packaging.
FLAT CONTACT LENS PACKAGES AND METHODS OF HANDLING
The present invention relates to improved contact lens packages and methods of use. An example flat contact lens package is described herein. The package includes a base component including a hinge and a lid component sealedly coupled to the base component. The base component and the lid component define a cavity configured to accommodate a contact lens and a packaging solution. Additionally, in an unopened state, the base component is biased toward the lid component, while in an opened state, a portion of the base component is configured to pivot about the hinge and drain the packaging solution.
DETERGENT PRESENTATION PACK
A detergent presentation pack includes outer packaging in the form of a folding box, having a base surface, a cover surface and side walls connecting the base surface and the cover surface, and cuboidal detergent tablets with three different edge lengths and three 2-fold axes of rotation. The degree of filling of the outer packaging is from 85% by volume to 99% by volume, and the outer packaging contains at least two detergent tablets, which are arranged in the outer packaging such that the axes of rotation of the detergent tablets along which the latter have the lowest level of tablet hardness run parallel to the base surface of the outer packaging.
DETERGENT SUPPLY FORM
A detergent supply form includes an outer packaging in the form of a folding box having a bottom surface, a top surface and side walls connecting the bottom surface and the top surface, and cuboid detergent shaped bodies having a lower face, an upper face and a lateral face connecting the lower face and the upper face. The outer packaging contains at least two detergent shaped bodies, which are in a sorted arrangement in the outer packaging. The outer packaging has a filling degree of 85 vol. % to 99 vol. %.
DETERGENT PRESENTATION FORM
A detergent supply form includes an outer packaging made of cardboard in the form of a single-piece folding box having a bottom surface and four side surfaces hinged to the bottom surface, a top surface and at least three side surfaces hinged to the top surface, and cuboid detergent shaped bodies. The outer packaging has a fill-level of 85 vol % to 99 vol %, and in the closed state, the side surfaces of the outer packaging hinged to the top surface overlap with the side surfaces hinged to the bottom surface of the outer packaging.
Washing Agent Presentation Form
A washing agent presentation form includes a cardboard outer packaging having a bottom surface, a top surface, and side walls located between the bottom surface and the top surface, and cuboidal washing agent shaped bodies. The outer packaging has a fill level of from 85 vol. % to 99 vol. % and at least one of the side walls of the outer packaging has a cavity with a volume that is at least 10 vol. % of the volume of the side wall.
WASHING AGENT PRESENTATION FORM
A washing agent presentation form includes an outer packaging in the form of a folding cardboard box having a bottom surface, a top surface and side walls connecting the bottom surface and the top surface, and cuboidal washing agent shaped bodies. The outer packaging has a degree of filling of 85 vol. % to 99 vol. % and the cardboard used to produce the folding box has a Cobb value below 30 g/m.sup.2.
