Methods are disclosed for replacing expired or unserviceable aircraft emergency slides (slides) in an aircraft. The disclosed methods utilize containers that are configured to securely retain both unserviceable slides and serviceable slides at different times in different configurations as installation tools. The container can be placed on an aircraft through the main door of the aircraft, and are further configured to be easily transported within the aircraft from a staging area of the aircraft to a slide installation and removal point at either the main door or an emergency exit door of the aircraft. The containers can be aligned with the installation and removal point to facilitate replacing an unserviceable slide with a new, serviceable slide. The disclosed methods and containers improve personnel safety concerning lifting and handling of the slides, which are heavy. The containers and methods disclosed herein further facilitate positioning of the slides near installation and removal points and properly orienting the slides, while reducing awkward handling situations for personnel.

A width B of the packaging arrangement corresponds substantially to the width of a bed plate of a bed type, a length L of the packaging arrangement corresponds substantially to the length of one or the sum of the lengths of two bed plates of a bed type, and a base area of the packaging arrangement is substantially identical for all bed types of the bed system. A height H of the packaging arrangement is given by: H/2, where G is a limit for length plus girth of the packaging arrangement.

GAS TANK GUARD IN GRILL CART

In an embodiment a grill system is provided. The grill system can include a grill assembly. The grill assembly can include a grill cart, a burner box, and a gas tank guard coupled to the grill cart. The burner box is coupled to a top portion of the grill cart. The grill cart is transtionable between a folded state and an upright state. The interior volume of the grill cart is greater when the grill cart is in the upright state than when the grill cart is in the folded state. The gas tank guard is configured to prevent two or more gas tanks from being placed within the interior volume of the grill cart when the grill cart is in the upright state. The gas tank guard is coupled to the grill cart in both the folded state and the upright state. Other embodiments are also included herein.

In an embodiment a grill system is provided. The grill system can include a grill assembly. The grill assembly can include a grill cart, a burner box, and a gas tank guard coupled to the grill cart. The burner box is coupled to a top portion of the grill cart. The grill cart is transtionable between a folded state and an upright state. The interior volume of the grill cart is greater when the grill cart is in the upright state than when the grill cart is in the folded state. The gas tank guard is configured to prevent two or more gas tanks from being placed within the interior volume of the grill cart when the grill cart is in the upright state. The gas tank guard is coupled to the grill cart in both the folded state and the upright state. Other embodiments are also included herein.
