Improved equipment bases and methods for making and using same are disclosed herein. The equipment base can include a first coated substrate including a first part having a first thickness sized to provide the load-bearing support for the equipment, a first elastomer coating the first part, a second coated substrate positioned adjacent to the first coated substrate, the second coated substrate including a second part having a second thickness sized to provide the load-bearing support for the equipment, and a second elastomer coating the second part. A first seam can be formed between the first and second coated substrates to allow for moisture to pass between the first and second coated substrates so that moisture is allowed to seep away from the bottom of the equipment.

BLADE SUPPORT APPARATUS
20210403229 · 2021-12-30 ·

The blade support apparatus involves storing and transporting helicopter blades until the blades are needed for reassembly to the helicopter. The blade support apparatus comprises a lid, a container, a root attachment, and a plurality of attachment bars. One end of the helicopter blade is the root. The blade root is secured to the root plug. A multiplicity of supports secure the container to a transport. The height and angle of each blade in the container can be adjusted, enabling them to conform to the blade curvature which spirals from the blade root to the tip of the blade. Height adjustment to a helicopter blade is achieved by a plurality of contoured pads mounted in the container at varying points along the helicopter blade. Angle adjustment is achieved by a plurality of pivot supports mounted in the container at varying points along the helicopter blade.

A custom bracket hinge which is used a single time during assembly of the log splitter, and a customized shipment stand allow an extremely quick and safe method of swinging two heavy parts of a log splitter trailer together, without lifting either part off of the ground until they are mated and can be swung into position. The first method aspect of the invention consists of the use of the special equipment (double hinge bracket mechanism and stand) to assemble the log splitter in a very small number of steps. The second method aspect of the invention is shipping the log splitter with the equipment, in a much smaller footprint.

Circuit card assembly standoff clip

A standing clip for supporting an object in an upright position includes a flexible grip having an upper lever arm, a lower lever arm, and first and second support legs. The first support leg extends from the upper lever arm at a second end of the flexible grip, and the second support leg extends from the lower lever arm at the second end of the flexible grip. The first and second support legs include complimentary clamping surfaces configured for clamping the object therebetween, and are spaced apart from each other by a gap. The flexible grip is depressible from a first state in which the gap is a first size to a second state in which the gap is a second size. The first and second support legs are oriented substantially vertically in the second state to clamp and suspend the object above a desired surface.
