Structures, methods, and systems associated with a stackable and collapsible container are provided. One structure includes a stackable and collapsible container having at least four non-collapsible, load bearing vertical support members attached to vertical walls of the container and capable of supporting the weight of other containers. A top surface is included having a number of sections which include a pivotal connection to one another and which are collapsible about the pivotal connection to an interior of the container. A bottom surface is included having a number of sections which include a pivotal connection to one another and which are collapsible about the pivotal connection to an interior of the container. The top and the bottom surfaces of the container can be fixedly positioned in a number of collapsed states.

Disclosed are apparatus, systems, and methods, including a ground transport drive container comprising an outer container having a cuboid shape and comprising a plurality of fittings for securing the outer container to another apparatus; and a drive wheel assembly. The drive wheel assembly comprises one or more wheels and a deployment mechanism secured to the one or more wheels. An actuating member actuates the drive wheel assembly between a stowed configuration and one or more deployed configurations. In the stowed configuration, the drive wheel assembly is housed entirely within the outer container. In the one or more deployed configurations, the drive wheel assembly extends from the outer container.

Disclosed are apparatus, systems, and methods, including a cargo transport system comprising a spine assembly, a container assembly, and an outer fairing. The spine assembly comprises a rigid spine and a plurality of mounts arranged on the rigid spine in a plurality of mount rows. The container assembly comprises a plurality of containers secured to the spine assembly using at least a subset of the plurality of mounts. The outer fairing at least partially encloses the container assembly. Each container of the plurality of containers comprises a plurality of fittings for securing the container to the spine assembly and/or another container of the container assembly. The container assembly is enclosed within a pressurization space for pressurizing the container assembly.

An expandable holding tank includes a base supporting a first sidewall to define a liquid retaining enclosure. A second sidewall travels up and down one of an exterior face or an interior face of the first sidewall from a stored position to an operative position. In the stored position, the second sidewall is nested with the first sidewall to position a lower edge of the second sidewall adjacent to the base. In the operative position, the second sidewall is telescopically extended relative to the first sidewall to place the lower edge of the second sidewall at a distance from the base and an upper edge of the second sidewall extending above an upper edge of the first sidewall.

A modular shipping container, comprising: an enclosure having a base opposed and spaced from a roof, each of the base and roof coupled to respective ends of opposed and spaced left and right side walls and to opposed and spaced front and back walls, the front and back walls having front and back door openings formed therein, respectively; and, front and back doors sized for mounting over the front and back door openings, respectively, to selectively close the front and back door openings; wherein the front door opening and the front door are smaller than the back door opening and the back door, respectively, whereby the front door is passable through the back door opening.

A box which is expandable vertically and horizontally is disclosed. The box can be expanded both vertically and horizontally simultaneously, or in only one of these directions. This is accomplished by pulling/pushing opposite sides further/closer to each other. Rails which at least partially extend between respective opposite sides allow such an expansion/or contraction, the rails, in embodiments, having a pin of one section of the box held within a slot of an adjacent section of the box. The box, in embodiments, is made up of four separate pieces, each being one quadrant (top & left, top & right, bottom & left, bottom & right) of the box. Such a box can be expanded/collapsed to fit within a window and hold an air conditioner there-in.

The invention relates to a telescopic shipping container transformable between a reduced configuration having reduced height and an erected configuration, the container including a top segment and a bottom segment. The container bottom segment includes a rigid base panel having four corner fittings and the container top segment includes a rigid roof panel having four corner fittings. The container includes four corner posts each extending between a roof corner fitting and a base corner fitting and including a top element rigidly connected to the roof panel and a bottom element rigidly connected to the base panel, each corner post having a retractable/extendable configuration. The container is characterized in that the container includes a front-end panel having at least one hinged door leaf. The door leaf includes a top section pivotably connected to the top element of the adjacent corner post, a bottom section pivotably connected to the bottom element of the adjacent corner post, and an intermediate section that is in telescopic engagement with the top section of the door leaf and with the bottom section of the door leaf. The intermediate section interconnects the top section and the bottom section.

A tank assembly for a helicopter is provided. The tank assembly comprises a retractable tank for storing liquid or other substances, an attachment mechanism, and first and second struts. The retractable tank comprises an upper frame structure. The attachment mechanism is attached to the upper frame structure and is configured to engage a cargo hook mount on the underside of the fuselage of the helicopter. The first and second struts extend from respective opposing sides of the upper frame structure. Each of the first and second struts is configured to engage a respective side mount on the fuselage of the helicopter.

A modular storage tank (100) for collecting and storing water, one module of said tank (100) comprising: a frame (12) defining a chamber (14), said frame (12) having a base portion (16) and a top portion (18), and a plurality of vertical members (104) extending between the base and the top portions (16, 18); said top portion (18) and said base portion (16), in use, each having edge members (22) extending longitudinally along a length of said tank (100), and a plurality of cross members (24) extending transversely between opposing edge members (22); at least one flexible material to be located within the chamber (14); and a plurality of side panels (28) to be located between opposing vertical members (104) and to substantially enclose said chamber (14).
