Containment system
10518969 · 2019-12-31 · ·

A containment system comprising a flexible bladder having at least one opening through which a liquid or other fluid or material can be pumped or transferred into or out of the bladder. The bladder has a contracted and an expanded or semi-expanded state. A support structure surrounds the side surfaces of the bladder and provides lateral support to the bladder when the bladder is in an expanded or semi-expanded state. The support structure comprises a plurality of panels that are seperably connected to one another to form an enclosed walled support structure. The at least one opening in the bladder is operatively connected to a point exterior to the support structure to permit the bladder to be filled or evacuated from a position exterior to the support structure.

BULK BAG HAVING A MULTI-SIDED SHAPED BOTTOM
20240034514 · 2024-02-01 · ·

A fabric bulk bag and a method for constructing the same, the bag including a continuous sidewall, a top portion, and a bottom, all defining a bulk storage space therein; the bottom further comprising eight sides which define an octagonal shape having an enlarged footprint so that the bag wall is sewn to the bottom in less time than a round shaped bag, yet when filled stands more upright with less tendency to lean than the current square shaped bags thereby providing a safer more dependable stacking bulk bag. In the method of producing the fabric bulk bag, the bag is constructed in less time than the prior art round bottom bags, uses less wall fabric than prior art square bottomed bags and when constructed and filled, supports itself more stable on a floor or pallet because it provides substantially more base for the product to rest on. In other embodiments, the bag would be multi-sided with greater than four sides.

METHOD FOR PRODUCING A BIODIGESTER REACTOR AND MEMBRANE TEMPLATE

Methods, systems and/or apparatus related to the manufacture and use of biodigesters are disclosed. Moreover, techniques for the manufacture of reactors whose final shape increases the lifespan of said biodigester, as well as modular techniques for the manufacture of said reactors, are included.

Foldable tank with extended capacity
10507972 · 2019-12-17 · ·

A foldable water tank comprises a foldable receptacle including an open receptacle portion and a closed receptacle portion, the open receptacle portion communicating with the closed receptacle portion such that water from the open receptacle flows to the closed receptacle, the open receptacle portion including side walls; a folding frame operably associated with the side walls to support the sidewalls in an upright position; and the closed receptacle portion extending outwardly from the frame.

Mobile support structure for bulk material containers

Systems and methods for efficiently managing bulk material are provided. The disclosure is directed to a portable support structure used to receive one or more portable containers of bulk material and output bulk material from the containers directly into the blender hopper. The portable support structure may include a frame for receiving and holding the one or more portable bulk material containers in an elevated position proximate the blender hopper, as well as one or more gravity feed outlets for routing the bulk material from the containers directly into the blender hopper. In some embodiments, the portable support structure may be transported to the well site on a trailer, unloaded from the trailer, and positioned proximate the blender unit. In other embodiments, the portable support structure may be a mobile support structure that is integrated into a trailer unit.

Silo bags with non-uniform thickness and methods of producing

Embodiments of the present disclosure are directed to multilayer silo bags that may include a tube comprising at least two layers, a first open end, a second open end, and a first region and a second region disposed between the first and second end. One or more of the at least three layers may comprise an ethylene/alpha-olefin interpolymer having a density of 0.90 g/cc to 0.965 g/cc and an I.sub.2 of 0.1 to 6.0 g/10 minutes, a low density ethylene-based polymer having a density of 0.917 g/cc to 0.935 g/cc and an I.sub.2 of 0.1 to 2.0 g/10 minutes, or combinations thereof. The first region may have a thickness of at least 10% greater than a thickness of the second region. The first region may have a surface area that is at least 50% of an overall surface area of the multilayer silo bag.

BAG FOR THE TRANSPORT AND STORAGE OF BULK GOODS AND METHOD OF PRODUCING SUCH A BAG
20240092562 · 2024-03-21 ·

A bag for the transport and storage of bulk goods including a main body having at least a bottom part and four sides connected in pairs along adjacent edges to form vertical ridges at four corners of the bag. The bag further includes four lifting straps, each having first and second end sections and an intermediate section rising above a top surface of the bag. The lifting straps are interconnected in pairs by two sleeves to form tubings or ducts extending longitudinally along a top surface of the bag to allow lifting of the bag by means of a forklift. The sleeves are connected to the main body of the bag via the lifting straps and are not attached longitudinally to the main body of the bag. Furthermore, the first and second end sections of each lifting strap are secured to corresponding sides of the bag.

Flexible bulk container

Various embodiments of a flexible bulk container are disclosed having a number of innovative features. In one embodiment, the flexible bulk container includes an enclosure defining an interior volume in which a support sling is located. The support sling helps prevent the shape of the container from deforming as it is filled with bulk material. In another embodiment, the flexible bulk container includes an opening in the top through which it can be filled with material. A cord is coupled to the top around the opening and can operate as a drawstring to close the opening.

Underground pumped hydro storage
11916508 · 2024-02-27 ·

An Underground Pumped Hydro Storage system may comprise a substrate, a large water-fillable bag, and an overburden causing pressure in the bag. The overburden may have nonuniformities of composition or dimension. Such nonuniformities may locally make overburden more flowable or gentle to the bag, at regions of relatively high shape change or flow during a cycle. Such nonuniformities may help prevent the overburden from freezing up in cold weather, or may enable a controlled progression of bag shapes. The overburden may have an irrigation hose buried in it. The bag edge joint may have any of various features that provide for a transition of local bending and load distribution near the joint between the bag upper and lower layers. An antechamber may be provided for access to the bag interior for robotic inspection or maintenance. The system may be deployed near a dam on a river.
