A cargo transport system comprising a spine assembly and a container assembly. The spine assembly comprises a rigid spine and a plurality of mounts arranged on the rigid spine in a plurality of mount rows. The container assembly comprises a plurality of containers and is secured to the spine assembly using at least a subset of the plurality of mounts. Each container of the plurality of containers comprises a plurality of fittings for securing the container to the spine assembly and/or another container of the container assembly. Each mount row extends along a width of the spine assembly, and the plurality of mount rows are spaced apart at regular distance intervals along a length of the spine.
Container transport system
A container transport system and method of operation can include: providing a vehicle having a subframe assembly coupled thereto, the subframe assembly including a lifting arm and a clamping arm; clamping the clamping arm onto a corner fitting of a cargo container; raising the lifting arm for raising a portion of the cargo container; inserting a jack stand below the cargo container; lowering the lifting arm for tilting the cargo container on the jack stand, the jack stand configured as a fulcrum; positioning a container trailer below the cargo container; and raising the lifting arm for pivoting the cargo container on the jack stand and lowering the cargo container onto the container trailer.
Folding container
A foldable shipping container adjustable between an unfolded condition in which said container is suitable for use as a cargo container, and a folded condition for when said container is not being used to store or ship cargo. The foldable shipping container having ways for controlling the rate at which the panels collapse.
CORNER FITTINGS FOR MODULAR CONTAINERS
Certain aspects of the present disclosure provide for modular containers with specialized corner fittings. In one example, a container, includes: six sides; and eight corner fittings, wherein each respective corner fitting of the eight corner fittings comprises: a first outward face on a first side of the six sides; a second outward face on a second side of the six sides; a third outward face on a third side of the six sides; and a corner fitting aperture in at least one of the first outward face, second outward face, or third outward face and centered approximately 3.379 inches from a first edge of the respective corner fitting and approximately 3.379 inches from a second edge of the respective corner fitting.
MODULAR CARGO CONTAINERS WITH SURFACE CONNECTORS
Certain aspects of the present disclosure provide techniques for a modular container, including: six sides, wherein: each side of the six sides of the modular container comprises at least four surface connector arrangements, each surface connector arrangement of the at least four surface connector arrangements comprises at least two connector elements, wherein: at least one connector element of the at least two connector elements is of a first type, and at least one connector element of the at least two connector elements is of a second type; and an access door in at least one side of the six sides.
APPARATUS FOR ENGAGING AND SECURING CONTAINER CORNER FITTINGS
Certain aspects of the present disclosure provide techniques for manipulating and securing containers. In one example, a method includes attaching a tool to a first corner fitting of a first container and a second corner fitting of a second container; applying a torque to the rotatable pinion in order to cause the first corner fitting to engage the second corner fitting; and removing the tool from the first corner fitting and the second corner fitting.
CANOPY AND COMPRESSOR OR GENERATOR INSTALLATION PROVIDED WITH SUCH CANOPY
A canopy for a compressor or generator installation comprising a chassis (2) with—a base plate (3) comprising a body with a mounting surface bounded by a polygonal peripheral edge (4); and—a mounting frame (5) containing this base plate (3) and going around the peripheral edge (4); whereby the canopy (1) further comprises a number of corner stays (6), whereby each corner stay (6) is provided with a mounting end which is configured to be mounted onto the chassis (2), whereby at each corner of the peripheral edge (4), at least one corner stay (6) is mounted with its mounting end onto the chassis (2), whereby each corner stay (6) in a mounted state extends from the mounting surface of the base plate (3) in a direction essentially perpendicular to the mounting surface and outwards from the body of the base plate (3), and whereby each corner stay (6) in a mounted state has a free end which is opposite to the mounting end of this corner stay (6) and which is not mounted onto the mounting surface; and whereby the canopy (1) further comprises at least one roof panel (9), characterised in that at each one corner of the peripheral edge (4), the free end of the at least one corner stay (6) is configured to be connected by means of at least one lateral beam (10) to the free end of the at least one corner stay (6) which is mounted at a corner adjacent to said one corner; and that the canopy (1) further comprises a number of lateral beams (10) such that, at each one corner of the peripheral edge (4), the free end of the at least one corner stay (6) at said one corner is connected to the free end of the at least one corner stay (6) which is mounted at a corner adjacent to said one corner.
Foldable double-deck frame container
The present invention discloses a foldable double-deck frame container, which comprises a first and second end rails parallel with each other and a first corner post, the first corner post is located at an end of the frame container, the first and second end rails are located between two of the first corner posts, and the second end rail is located above the first end rail, the frame container further comprises a second corner post rotatably connected with the top end of the first corner post so that the second corner post is movable between an vertical position and a folded position. The foldable double-deck frame container according to the present invention has a first corner post and a second corner post, and the second corner post is foldable so as to be folded during the backhaul process from being damaged. Such a frame container has a simpler configuration, lower cost of manufacture, convenience of recovery and a broad range of application.
REMOTELY CONTROLLED CONTAINER LOCK, SYSTEM AND METHOD
Method, container corner lock and system for fastening a first container corner casting of a first container and a corresponding second container corner casting of a second container.
