In some embodiments, the cargo units include a generally rectangular base having a front, a rear and two sides, with forklift slots on its front, rear and each side. The cargo units may further include front and rear walls extending upward from the base. The cargo units may further include first and second side walls extending upward from the base between the front and rear walls. The first side wall may have a length greater than the second side wall. The cargo units may further include an integrated lid hingedly attached to one or more of the front, rear, and side walls.

The industrial container includes a container body, a pivot assembly, a counter-balancing spring assembly, and a locking assembly. The container body can have a plurality of walls, the plurality of walls including a pivotable ramp wall. The pivot assembly can connect the ramp wall with the container body for pivotal movement of the ramp wall, and the pivot assembly can include a pivot shaft supported by a pair of arms. The counter-balancing spring assembly can include one or more springs arranged about the pivot shaft for biasing the ramp wall from a downwardly inclined loading position upwardly toward a vertical closed position with a torque force. The locking assembly can be configured to lock the ramp wall in the vertical closed position.

The lid is selectively mountable in two orientations to close the container or to provide handles for propelling and/or steering the shipping container. An expandable storage location for empty packaging is provided at an exterior of the shipping container.

Disclosed is a portable storage system for asphalt and other like material that is required to be maintained at a particular constant heated temperature even in sub-zero ambient temperatures. The system may include an exterior covering over a frame to define an enclosure. The frame defines an interior space where an insulated tank resides. The tank is heated. The interior of the enclosure may be heated. Rails provided along a vertical surface of the enclosure and extending above the roof of the enclosure allow the entire system to be loaded as a roll-off load on a truck. A plurality of lugs with apertures therethrough extend beyond the exterior surface of the enclosure to enable the enclosure to be lifted by cranes and tied down during transport.
