A roller platform apparatus includes a rigid plate, a set of bearings mounted on the rigid plate, and a set of one or more bars attached to the rigid plate. The set of bars is configured to restrict movement of a load into a space between the set of bearings and lower than the height of the one of more bars, and the height of the one or more bars is lower than the height of the first set of bearings and higher than the rigid plate. At least one advantage in this approach is that an equipment rack can be transported without the use of casters that are permanently attached to the equipment rack.

A collapsible shipping container has a corner post located at each corner of a base frame. A respective stile of an end cover frame, which may support at least one door, is pivotally mounted on the base frame adjacent each corner post. Respective lifting members on each corner post and stile have curved abutment faces which engage when the stile is in the erected position, and a latch member releasably locks the stile in the erected position. The or each end cover frame may be provided with a springor winch system to assist in moving the end cover frame to the erected position.

To afford manual operation of the massive ramp wall, a counter-balancing spring arrangement is provided including a pair of torsion springs mounted concentrically on these two pivot shafts for biasing the ramp wall from the loading position upwardly toward the closed position with an aggregate torque force that is generally equal to the weight of the ramp wall.

A corrugated storage container is provided that includes a box section with a top wall and corrugated side walls and end walls, a tapered funnel section extending downwardly from the box section and a frame supporting the box section and the funnel section. The frame includes vertical posts that are integrally joined with the box section and a base section formed at the lower end of the vertical posts and supporting the funnel section. The configuration of the corrugated storage container provides approximately 600 cubic feet of enclosed interior volume capable of storing between 50,000 and 51,000 pounds of bulk material.
