Portable tank

A tank for bulk material storage and transport and method for producing same. In an embodiment, a tank is provided that includes a shell having a sidewall, a neck including a first collar, and a tube terminating in a second collar. A frustoconical cap may be secured to the first collar. A substantially conical cap may be secured to the second collar. A liner may be applied to the shell so that the liner substantially covers an interior surface of the sidewall, an interior surface of the neck, at least a portion of the first collar, an interior surface of the tube, and at least a portion of the second collar. Annular thickened segments may be trimmed to prepare the tank for use. The annular thickened segments may be located at an interior joint between the frustoconical cap and the first collar, and/or an interior joint between the substantially conical cap and the second collar. The trimming step may form first and second sealing surfaces of the liner adjacent respectively to the first and second collars. The first and second sealing surfaces may respectively be configured to substantially seal against a manway cover and an outlet cover. In a final, assembled preferred form, the frustoconical and substantially conical caps are replaced with the manway assembly and outlet cover, respectively sealed against the first and second sealing surfaces.

Cargo unit

Described herein are units for transportation of cargo, and methods of using them. In some embodiments, the units are collapsible, stackable cargo units. In some embodiments, the cargo units include a generally rectangular base having a front, a rear and two sides, with forklift slots on its front, rear and each side. The cargo units may further include front and rear walls extending upward from the base. The cargo units may further include first and second side walls extending upward from the base between the front and rear walls. The first side wall may have a length greater than the second side wall. The cargo units may further include an integrated lid hingedly attached to one or more of the front, rear, and side walls.

Method for transferring container

A method for transferring a container for holding one or more articles is provided. The method includes transferring the container using a transferring mechanism to a position which is adjacent to a destination space. The method further includes recording an image of the destination space before the container is deposited to the destination space. The method also includes performing an image analysis of the image and determining if the container is able to be sent to the destination space according to a result of the image analysis of the image.

Systems and methods for transportation of waxy crude

A method of transporting waxy crude hydrocarbon includes: providing a container having an internal chamber with at least one port for receiving flowable waxy crude, wherein the container is provided at a refinery location; filling the internal chamber of the container with a filling system for loading the waxy crude hydrocarbon into the container; allowing the waxy crude hydrocarbon to cool and solidify into a non-flowable state; transporting the container having the non-flowable waxy crude hydrocarbon with at least one transport vehicle, wherein the transporting is performed without actively heating the waxy crude hydrocarbon with an active heating system, wherein the transporting is along a transportation route having a beginning at the refinery location and an ending; heating the waxy crude hydrocarbon at the ending of the transportation route until flowable; and removing the flowable waxy crude hydrocarbon from the container with an emptying system.

BULK FLUID STORAGE CONTAINER

An industrial sized receptacle or bedding box for industrial fill material which is formed by a distal plate, a proximal plate, two side plates, and a bottom plate. The bedding box is equipped with a means for engagement by a secondary device, such as the bucket of an excavator or similar heavy machinery. The bedding box can then be manipulated by the secondary device to lift and tilt the bedding box to empty the contents of the bedding box through an opening in the proximal plate.

Framed structure for material-handling purposes

A framed structure, such as a material cart, used for material-handling purposes includes an elongated frame having two opposite ends and two opposite sides. In addition, a first set of mounts are adapted to accept the forks of a forklift truck directed endwise therein and are arranged in such a relationship to the elongated frame so that the first pair of mounts are adapted to accept the forks of a forklift truck directed therein from a side of the elongated frame. Furthermore, a second set of mounts are adapted to accept the forks of a forklift truck directed endwise therein and are arranged in such a relationship to the elongated frame so that the second set of mounts are adapted to accept the forks of a forklift truck directed therein from an end of the elongated frame.

STORAGE AND DISPENSING BINS FOR FLOWABLE MATERIAL
