Double-walled waste container

The double-walled waste container provides an open-top roll-off container being rectangular in shape and having latching door portions at one end. The container employs a double wall construction to minimize damage, improve strength, and reduce weight. Additionally, the container provides a plurality of drain apertures which extend a full length of the container to drain off accumulated liquids and to prevent corrosion of the container.

A cargo container includes a base, side walls and a rear wall on the base and a top attached to the side walls and the rear wall. A front frame is attached to the base, the side walls and the top. Left and right swing out doors are pivotally attached to the left and right sides of the front frame. A roll up door is attached to a top of the front frame, in between the left and right swing out doors. The container may be loaded and unloaded with the swing out doors and the roll up door open, providing a maximum size front opening, or with the swing out doors closed and the roll up door open, providing a reduced size front opening equal to the width of the roll up door.

The invention provides a heavy-duty door lock (22) adapted for locking a door (10) of an intermodal container (12) comprising an internal lock member (24) arranged within the container (12) so as to lock a door (10) from with inside the container (12), the internal lock member (24) being displaceable between a locked and unlocked position; actuating means (26) arranged within the container (12) for displacing the internal lock member (24) between the locked and unlocked positions; and a locking mechanism (28) including an internal lock (52) which is located within the container (12) and which in a locked position prevents the actuating means (26) from displacing the internal lock member (24), and in an unlocked position allows the actuating means (26) to displace the internal lock member (24); and an external lock (54) which is located on the outside of a door (10) of the container (12) and which operatively displaces the internal lock (52) between the locked and unlocked positions.

A freight container (1) has a frame to which a bottom (2), a roof (3), and sides (5-7) are attached, one side having a door opening closeable by a folding door (12) made of flexible, fire resistant material. The door (12) is supported from runners (13) moveable along a rail (14) combined with a top member (9) of a frame delimiting the door opening. A gap (15) is formed between the top frame member (9) and the top of the door (12) in its closed condition. The top member (9) is provided with a depending support (16) having a surface facing the inside of the door (12) and having attached thereto a strip of heat intumescent material (20). A flow passage (18) is formed between the strip (20) and the door (12) for gasses attempting to escape from the container through the gap (15) in a fire inside the container. The heat intumescent material (20) is arranged to swell and close the flow passage (18) when subjected to hot gasses from the fire inside the container.

Left and right door posts are positioned at left and right lower corners of the door frame. A cable in or on the fabric panel is attached to or extends around the left and right cable rings. A cable tensioner tensions the cable to secure the fabric panel in closed position in the door frame.

To this end, the hexagonal foldable container of the present invention comprises: an upper panel part and a lower panel part respectively forming the upper surface and lower surface thereof; a left panel part and a right panel part respectively forming the left surface and right surface thereof, and respectively folded; a front panel part and a rear panel part respectively forming the front surface and rear surface thereof; and a fixing bar provided at the outer surface of the rear panel part, and further includes first and second supporting members provided at the inner surface of the upper panel part so as to be movable forwards and backwards, wherein the front panel part and the rear panel part are respectively and pivotally provided at the first and second supporting members by means of upper hinge parts such that the respective outer surfaces thereof gradually face upwards.

A tool for securing a shipping container head with two extensions extending away from the head and having a space between them sufficient to accommodate a bar bracket of a container lashing turnbuckles used to secure a shipping container door. The head also has a handle that can function as a lever, so that when the tool engages the turnbuckle bar bracket, an operator can close and secure the shipping container door.

The invention provides a collapsible intermodal container (10, 10, 10), comprising: first and second opposing side walls (12, 14), the first side wall (12) extending substantially parallel to the second side wall (14), each of the first and second side walls (12, 14) having a lower end portion (12b, 14b) and an upper end portion (12a, 14a); an upper wall (16) hingedly attached to the upper end portion (12b) of the first side wall (12); and a lower wall (18) hingedly attached to the lower end portion (14a) of the second side wall (14). The collapsible intermodal container (10, 10, 10) is configurable between: an erected configuration, in which the upper wall (16) extends from the upper end portion (12a) of the first side wall (12) to the upper end portion (14a) of the second side wall (14), and the lower wall (18) extends from the lower end portion (14b) of the second side wall (14) to the lower end portion (12b) of the first side wall (12), such that the first and second side walls (12, 14) are spaced apart by a first distance (D1) to define an interior (28) for storing goods; and a collapsed configuration, in which the upper wall (16) extends downwardly from the upper end portion (12b) of the first side wall (12), and the lower wall (18) extends upwardly from the lower end portion (14b) of the second side wall (14), such that the first and second side walls (12, 14) are spaced apart by a second distance (D2) which is less than the first distance (D1).

A transport container (vehicle) used to transport, lift, and transfer approved IBCs containing dangerous goods (including liquids) in Open Seas environments. The transport container meets all criteria specified by DNV-GL for certification of offshore containers intended for transport of approved IBCs for dangerous goods in Open Seas and has been certified by DNV-GL as such. It also provides a (solid) full enclosure of the IBC which provides protection an all sides, top and bottom. An offset hinge, rolling, or retractable, top lid provides a top opening for vertical loading of the IBC, while also providing complete protection of the top, when closed. A hinged door panel provides for front protection while allowing for lateral loading of the IBC. The transport container also incorporates guidance features to ensure the IBC is properly positioned inside the container when loading, and a catch well to contain drips or accidental spillage.
