Devices, systems and methods for temporary attachment of a safety line to dental restorations and appliances
Devices, systems, and methods for handling dental restorations or dental appliances, including a device having an adhesive at one side of a flexible substrate which peels from a strip to connect to a dental appliance, the device further including an abrasive at an opposite side of the substrate, and in further aspects a tab section devoid of adhesive to accommodate easy grasp and lift of the device for removal from the dental appliance, and in further aspects a string attached to the tab.
Robotic systems, devices and methods for performing dental procedures on patients
A system for performing a dental procedure includes a hand piece having a robot arm that extends along a first axis, and a medical tool coupled with a distal end of the robot arm. The system includes a first gimbal coupled with the robot arm for rotating the robot arm and the medical tool about the first axis, a second gimbal coupled with the robot arm for tilting the medical tool up and down relative to the first axis, and a third gimbal coupled with the robot arm for moving the medical tool up and down along a second axis that is perpendicular to the first axis. The hand piece includes a turret that supports the robot arm and rotates within a plane that is perpendicular to the second axis.

Dental object for attaching to a tooth
The present invention relates to a dental object (100) for attaching to a tooth (101) or teeth in an intraoral space, having an adhesive region (103) with a gutta-percha material (105) for attaching the dental object (100) to the tooth (101) or teeth.
Dental oral shield device and system
An oral shield system for protecting an area in a patient's mouth, the system including an oral shield device having a molded body that forms a contoured surface and a pair of wings that extend from the body, and an elongate handle attached to the oral shield device.
Dental oral shield device and system
An oral shield system for protecting an area in a patient's mouth, the system including an oral shield device having a molded body that forms a contoured surface and a pair of wings that extend from the body, and an elongate handle attached to the oral shield device.
DENTAL RESTORATION MOLDS
A tool for forming a dental restoration includes a mold body configured to combine with a tooth of a patient to define a mold cavity encompassing at least a portion of desired tooth structure of the tooth. In some examples, the portion of desired tooth structure defines an interproximal surface of the tooth. The mold body may include, in some examples, a base member configured to provide a customized fit with at least one tooth of the patient to attach the mold body to the at least one tooth, and an interproximal member extending from the base member and configured to be disposed between adjacent teeth of the patient when the base member is fit over the at least one tooth. The interproximal member defines a surface of the mold cavity.
Dental Prosthesis
A dental prosthesis having a guide hole formed therein. The guide hole is configured to guide placement of a dental implant, and configured to receive the implant, holding the prosthesis in place when screwed into the bone of a patient. This may allow for the simultaneous placement of both dental implant and dental prosthesis, rather than the current state of the art which requires a long waiting period between implant placement and prosthesis placement.
Illuminated dental instrument assemblies and components for use within illuminated dental instrument assemblies
Illuminated dental instrument assemblies (e.g., illuminated dental mirrors, illuminated dental wedges, trans-illumination dental instrument, illuminated dental bite blocks, etc.) are provided. The illuminated dental instrument assemblies may be adapted to be periodically sterilized. The illuminated dental instrument assemblies may include a magnetically energetic fiber optic coupler. The magnetically energetic fiber optic coupler may be configured to allow the illuminated dental instrument assembly to rotate with respect to an associated fiber optic cable that is removably connected to the magnetically energetic fiber optic coupler. The illuminated dental instrument assemblies may include a fiber optic material that is encapsulated.
SYSTEMS AND METHODS OF AUTOMATED IN-SITU PREPARATION FOR MOUNTING OF PREFABRICATED CUSTOM DENTAL PROSTHESIS
A system and method of automated formation of a preparation stub, based on an a priori created computational geometrical model, configured to conform to a prefabricated fixed dental prosthesis, is described. The system includes a digital imaging facility with an image acquiring device and a three-dimensional data digitizer, a modeling facility with an exterior surface design module and an interior surface design module, a fabrication facility operatively with a computer-aided manufacturing module, as well as an application facility including an ablation tool and in-situ preparation module; application facility preferably includes an intra-oral feedbacking appliance with a distance measurement probe for automated feedback-controlled formation of a preparation stub.
