Flexible container bags

A flexible bulk container comprising a top wall, a bottom wall, and at least one sidewall defining an internal space. There is an access portion associated with the top wall for accessing the internal space through an open end of the access portion, and a position marker located at a predetermined position on the access portion for detection by a detector of a robotic system. An insert for use with a flexible bulk container during folding of the flexible bulk container is also provided. The insert comprises: a head portion and a tail portion extending therefrom, the head portion having an insert upper edge and the tail portion being sized and shaped for engagement with an open end of a filling spout, and lateral spacer portions extending from the head portion, one on either side of the tail portion.

Systems and methods for dispensing dry flowable materials used in wellbore operations. In some embodiments, the methods include: providing at least one vessel that contains dry flowable materials, each vessel including an outlet connected to a common vacuum manifold; providing a vacuum source for directing a flow of the dry flowable materials from at least one vessel to the common vacuum manifold; discharging the dry flowable materials from the vessel to the common vacuum manifold through an outlet connected to at least one vessel, wherein a discharge valve is disposed on the outlet; determining an amount of dry flowable materials in at least one vessel at least in part using at least one load cell disposed underneath the vessel; and determining the amount of dry flowable materials being routed to the common vacuum manifold based at least in part on the amount of dry flowable materials measured in the vessel.

Systems, apparatus, and methods for detecting and verifying an environmental anomaly using multiple command nodes

A system for detecting and verifying an environmental anomaly within a shipping container (transported on a transit vehicle having an external transceiver) has wireless sensor-based ID nodes at different locations within the container and multiple command nodes mounted to the container. A first command node is programmatically configured to be operative to detect the sensor data broadcasted from the ID nodes; responsively identify the anomaly based upon the sensor data detected by that command node; and transmit a validation request to another command node. The other command node is configured to be operative to also detect the sensor data broadcasted from the ID nodes; receive the validation request from the first command node; verify the anomaly in response to the validation request and based upon the sensor data detected by the second command node; and broadcast a verification message based upon whether the anomaly for the shipping container is verified.
