LIQUID-STABILIZING APPARATUS FOR LIQUID CARGO TANK
A liquid-stabilizing apparatus for a liquid cargo tank includes a guide structure. The guide structure is provided with a positioning floating body. The positioning floating body is provided with anti-sloshing members. The anti-sloshing members are provided with discontinuous baffles at a fixed angle. By using the liquid-stabilizing apparatus, the liquid cargo tank is no longer required to have a bevel surface structure, thereby increasing load capacity of the liquid cargo tank and preventing the liquid cargo tank in various loading states from being impacted by liquid cargos.

TANK FOR TRANSPORTING LIQUIDS
A tank for transporting a liquid is disclosed. In some implementations, the tank includes a carrier having a plurality of compartments, each compartment of the plurality of compartments having an opening for containing one or more baffles. In some implementations, the tank includes a plurality of posts that are securable relative to the tank and configured to support the one or more baffles. In some implementations, the posts are removed from the tank to facilitate installation of the baffles. In some implementations, the posts are rotatable to facilitate installation of the baffles. In some implementations, the tank is a two-piece tank which facilitates access to the one or more baffles.

Compliant-volume motion modification system and method
A system and method for modifying motion of a liquid is provided. Containers are disposed within a liquid contained within a tank. Each container has an open end. Each container is disposed in the liquid such that a portion of the liquid fills a portion of each container to seal its open end. A remainder of each container is filled with a gas. At least one gas pressurization source is in fluid communication with the remainder or gas-containing portion of at least one of the containers for pressurizing the gas therein. Pressure is applied to the gas in each container. For each container, the portion of the liquid contained therein and the pressure applied to the gas therein cooperate to modify movement of the liquid in the tank.

Fluid baffle for a tank
Embodiments relate to fluid baffles and parts and kits for making such baffles. For example, some embodiments relate to a fluid baffle for use in a tank, where the baffle comprises: a body defining an interior volume and defining a plurality of fluid passage apertures at spaced positions around the body to allow fluid to easily pass into and out of the interior volume; wherein the body comprises a continuous wall that defines a plurality of convex regions spaced from each other around the body and defines concave regions between the convex regions.
Apparatus for suppressing sloshing
There is provided an apparatus for suppressing sloshing. An apparatus for suppressing sloshing according to an embodiment of the present invention includes a plurality of buoyant blocks and connecting members connecting the buoyant blocks and can float on a liquid cargo in a liquid cargo storage tank, the buoyant block includes a buoyant body having buoyancy to float on liquid, a first foam member covering the buoyant body and absorbing the liquid, and a first cover covering the first foam member, and the first foam member has through-holes formed through the first foam member.
