A storage and transportation container for a radome of an aircraft is disclosed having a top wall, and bottom wall that are planar and parallel to one another, and a peripheral wall, wherein the top, bottom, and peripheral walls form an enclosure for supporting the radome within the container. The top wall has a closed curved outline and a surface of a dimension greater than that of the bottom wall having an outline which forms a parallelogram thus making it possible to receive the radome with its curved nose pointing downwards, and wherein the geometry of the container is matched to the form of the radome and of the hold.

An intermodal container includes first and second ends, joined by first and second sides in a generally rectangular configuration. A generally continuous floor cooperates with the first and second ends and the first and second sides to form an open top container. A plurality of roof overhangs extend adjacent a top of the open top container, generally parallel to the floor. The intermodal container includes a roll cover having a first position in which the open top container is substantially open to the ambient environment to allow for loading from above the first and second sides and first and second ends of the open top container. The roll cover has a second position in which the open top container is substantially closed to the ambient environment to prevent any contents of the open top container to be ejected from the open top container during transport. A plurality of top reinforcement rails are disposed adjacent upper portions of the first and second sides, and extends from the first side to the second side.

Seal for cover on wastewater treatment tank

A sealing system for a covered tank, particularly a fixed gas-sealing tank in a wastewater treatment system, includes a thrust ring positioned just inside the tank rim, secured to a series of radial beams for the cover. Preferably supported on corbels anchored to the interior tank wall, the thrust ring has an outwardly extending generally horizontal flange that overlies the edge of the tank rim. To this flange and to the top of the tank rim is secured a flexible membrane seal, around the periphery of the tank. The membrane seal is easily installed, reliable as a seal, and can be efficiently replaced when needed.

Seal for cover on wastewater treatment tank

A sealing system for a covered tank, particularly a fixed gas-sealing tank in a wastewater treatment system, includes a thrust ring positioned just inside the tank rim, secured to a series of radial beams for the cover. The present invention is directed to new and improved industrial containment bags wherein the improvement comprises providing methods and technologies for improving the integrity of such bags during processes designed for lifting, transporting storing and/or disposing of the same. In certain embodiments, the improvement includes providing methods and technologies for improving the sealing capabilities of the bag's closure systems. In other embodiments, the improvement includes providing methods and technologies for assessing the load balance of materials being contained in such industrial containment bags; and thereafter, compensating for any significant load imbalances. The present invention is also directed to methods of manufacturing, using, filling, lifting, transporting, storing, and/or disposing of such new and improved industrial containment bags.

Intermodal storage and transportation container

A container or pod is specially constructed for hauling proppant in support of oilfield hydraulic fracturing operations. Dimensions are provided that comport with common dimensions in use for transportation of intermodal containers, with the containers being sized so as not to require special permitting from a regulatory standpoint when two such containers are loaded on a single trailer. A method of filling the containers is also provided, which include inverting the container to fill from a bottom gate that also serves as the discharge opening when the filled container is rotated back into an upright position.
