METHODS OF STORING AND MOVING PROPPANT AT LOCATION ADJACENT RAIL LINE
20180148278 · 2018-05-31 ·

A method of delivering proppant to a well site has the steps of transporting a load of proppant in a vessel to a desired location, moving the load of proppant from the vessel into a container so as to create a proppant-loaded container, unloading the proppant-loaded container into a pneumatic bulk trailer, and transporting the unloaded proppant in the pneumatic bulk trailer to well site. The container is placed onto a bed of a truck and moved in proximity to the vessel. The proppant-loaded container is placed onto a tilting mechanism and then tilted so that the proppant is discharged through a flow gate of a container into a hopper. The proppant in the hopper can then be conveyed to the pneumatic bulk trailer.

Levering Tool Assembly And Method Of Use
20240369154 · 2024-11-07 ·

A levering tool assembly for actuating a pull rod of a sliding door of a sump in a grain bin includes first and second bars, with the second bar extending angularly from the first bar's first end. A coupling module, which is attached to the first bar's second end, is selectively couplable to a pull rod that is operationally engaged to the sliding door. A fulcrum module, which is attached to a bottom of the first bar between the first and second ends, is extensible substantially perpendicularly from the first bar and opposingly to the second bar. With the coupling module coupled to the pull rod and the fulcrum module positioned in abutment with a wall of the grain bin, the second bar is pushed upon by a user to apply a levering force to the pull rod to open the sliding door.

A locking mechanism for locking an upper cover of a container to a side plate (2) of the container, the container (100) comprising a base (1), the upper cover (4) and the side plate, the upper cover (4) being provided with an edge guard; the locking mechanism comprises a lock hole (522) formed on the exterior of at least one of the side plate (2) and a groove (5411) formed on the upper cover; an end of the locking element (50) is mounted in the groove (5411); the other end of the locking element (50) is provided with a lock (5021); the lock (5021) passes through the edge guard and extends into the locking hole in a direction perpendicular to a direction of the side plate (2) to securely lock the upper cover (4) to the side plate (2); the driving element (51) is mounted in the groove (5411) and used to return element is mounted in the groove (5411) and used to return the mechanism, transportation and storage cost are reduced, and labor of operators is saved.

SYSTEMS AND METHODS FOR PROCESSING EARTHEN SLURRIES

Systems and methods for processing earthen slurries such as slurries of earth cuttings and, in particular, systems and methods that involve two separation units for dewatering the slurry or that involve additive mixing units are disclosed. The systems and methods may include a conveyor such as a drag-slat conveyor that removes slurry from a holding tank at which the material is dumped and toward the separation units to allow the material to be continuously processed and dumped into the holding tank.

TRANSFER SYSTEMS FOR RECEIVING AND CONVEYING MATERIAL

Transfer systems for receiving and conveying material such as earthen slurries discharged from vacuum excavators are disclosed. The transfer system may include a holding tank and a conveyor such as a drag-slat conveyor that extends into the tank to remove and convey material from the tank. The transfer system includes a hatch. The hatch is moveable from a closed position in which vehicles travel over the hatch to an open position in which the holding tank is open to receive material from the vacuum excavator.

Separation units for dewatering slurries such as flat-wire belt conveyors are disclosed. In some embodiments, the separation unit includes a tension pulley for maintaining tension in the flat-wire conveyor belt. The flat-wire conveyor belt is looped around the head pulley, tail pulley and tension pulley. In some embodiments, the head pulley and/or tail pulley include teeth for removing material from the mesh openings of the flat-wire belt conveyor.

INTERMODAL STORAGE AND TRANSPORTATION CONTAINER

A container or pod is specially constructed for hauling proppant in support of oilfield hydraulic fracturing operations. Dimensions are provided that comport with common dimensions in use for transportation of intermodal containers, with the containers being sized so as not to require special permitting from a regulatory standpoint when two such containers are loaded on a single trailer. A method of filling the containers is also provided, which include inverting the container to fill from a bottom gate that also serves as the discharge opening when the filled container is rotated back into an upright position.
