SYSTEMS AND METHODS FOR STRUCTURING THE FINANCING OF HIGH COST THERAPIES
Presented herein are systems and methods for structuring the financing of high cost therapies such as GCTs to address the issues of high-upfront cost (affordability), uncertain durability of the treatment, and portability/transferability of the liability. In certain embodiments, the systems and methods described herein involve a combination of (a) a uniquely-designed, multi-year structured loan that facilitates portability, (b) a performance-based guarantee of efficacy in the form of a value based agreement that may be tied to the tenure of the loan, and (c) securitization of the loan.
SYSTEM AND METHOD FOR TRACKING OF CHEMICAL AND ODOR EXPOSURES
Systems and methods are provided for tracking all chemicals, including odors, a package is exposed to throughout the shipping process. A device is attached to the package or placed within the package to extract the chemicals that are in the surrounding environment to the device. The device can extract and concentrate volatile, semi-volatile and non-volatile chemicals that the device and the corresponding package are exposed to throughout the shipping process. The extracted chemicals may then be desorbed from the device and analyzed by an analytical instrumentation method.
Container for consumer goods with an insert and method of manufacturing such a container
A container for consumer goods includes an outer housing including a box portion and a hinged lid portion pivotable between open and closed positions, an inner package arranged within the outer housing, the inner package including an access opening, an insert that can be pulled out of the container, including a front panel and at least a first side panel that are connected to each other, and wherein the front panel is arranged between a front wall of the inner package and a front wall of the box portion, and the first side panel is arranged between a first side wall of the inner package and a first side wall of the box portion, and the first side panel includes a first grasp portion that extends above the first side wall of the box portion in a longitudinal direction, when the insert is in a retracted position.
Recyclable bag
Front and back panels have side seams that fix the panel side edges of the front panel to the panel side edges of the back panel and each extend a full vertical length of the respective panel side edges. A label formed from a separate piece of film covers one of the face panels between the side edges thereof, is disconnected from the one face panel between the panel side seams, has label side edges generally at the respective side panel edges, and secures the label to the one face panel. Respective secondary side seams are provided between the side edges of the label and the side edges of the one panel, and respective tear lines are formed in the label closely adjacent and generally parallel to each of the label side edges. There is printing on the label only between the tear lines.
MODULAR REUSABLE SHIPPING CRATE
A system, method, and device for shipping, transporting, storing, and managing logistics of a variety of cargo. A crate is disclosed that allows for easy and inexpensive return shipment (reverse logistics) after use through a collapsible, interlocking system of a pallet base, foldable side wall assemblies, and a lid that can be removably connected to one another. The crate can utilize guide protrusions and corresponding guide recesses to fit the components together. The height of the crate can be increased by additional tiers of side walls. Latch assemblies can be utilized to fasten adjacent components together. The crate may include a tracking or monitoring device that can monitor one or more of humidity, temperature, tilt, impact, vibration, and variety of desired conditions. The system may include Bluetooth beacons on each of the components and a Bluetooth sensor in the monitoring device in the pallet base to monitor disassembled components.
FLEXIBLE PACKAGE AND METHOD OF MANUFACTURE
Package having a flexible inner sheet having a first surface and a second surface. The package has an article reservoir for accepting an article to be shipped. The expansion chambers can be inflated or otherwise expanded to provide structure to the package and to protect the article in the article reservoir. The inner sheet of the package includes a shrinkable material that can be activated to immobilize articles disposed in the article reservoir.
PACKAGE FOR PACKING CONSUMABLES, AND METHOD FOR SUPPLYING CONSUMABLES
The invention relates to a package (10) for packing consumables (13) for use in a machining device, in particular a wood working device, for machining plate-shaped workpieces, having a base body (11) formed from at least one packaging material to be used once or repeatedly, wherein the base body (11) at least partially delimits a receiving area (12) for receiving and dispensing the consumables (13), and the receiving area (12) is at least partially surrounded by the packaging material, as well as having a dispensing device (20) allowing access to the consumables (13) which can be received in the receiving area (12), and having at least one identification device (18) for identifying properties of the packaged consumables (13), wherein at least the base body (11) is configured to be supplied to the machining device together with the consumables (13).
Tasting flight kits
Tasting flight kits are disclosed herein. An example tasting flight kit includes a drinking cup and a tray to support the drinking cup. The tray includes a base and an opening extending through the base. The opening has a larger diameter than a bottom portion of the drinking cup, such that when the drinking cup is inserted into the opening from a top side of the base, the bottom portion of the drinking cup extends through the opening and beyond a bottom side of the base. The example tasking flight kit also includes a ring having an outer diameter larger than a diameter of the opening. The ring is to be placed around the bottom portion of the drinking cup when the drinking cup is inserted into the opening to prevent the drinking cup from being removed from the opening when the tray is inverted.
Film Bundle Packaging
A plastic film bundle, and apparatus and methods for forming the plastic film bundle are disclosed herein.
LINERLESS RECEIPTS AND LABELS
A labeling system for use with containers, comprising at least one linerless label, wherein the at least one linerless label is adapted to receive printing thereon; a substrate for receiving the label and to which the label becomes permanently bound after the label has been attached to the substrate; a first adhesive, wherein the first adhesive is a repositionable adhesive; a second adhesive, wherein the second adhesive is a remoistenable adhesive that includes predetermined amounts of polyvinyl alcohol, dextrin, and at least one humectant, and wherein the adhesives are deposited on the label prior to attaching the label to the substrate.
