Universal beverage container cover
A universal cover for covering all types of beverage containers and an associated carrying case is disclosed. When placed over any beverage container, the universal cover disclosed uses decorative weights made with acrylic plastic gems, crystals or metal, to keep the cover secured in place as well as for keeping it well stretched and snugly placed over the rim of a beverage container. The universal cover also includes a central opening for inserting a straw or a sipping device there-through. The universal beverage cover offers the functionality of creating a cover for containers where typically no lid or cover typically exists as is the case for non-portable beverage containers such as wine glasses, beer or juice mugs, and other crystal-ware used at a restaurant, banquet hall, or another indoor setting. The universal cover disclosed provides a level of protection against pathogens and other contaminants while maintaining the necessary decor and formality of the setting. Embodiments of the invention provide the additional functionality of maintaining beverage temperature for longer periods. The universal cover can be made with fabrics, or faux leather or vinyl type fabric for based on the degree of insulation or durability desired.
DUAL-COLOR REUSABLE BOTTLE LABEL
Embodiments, apparatuses, and systems associated with providing a two color etchable label for a drinking vessel. In some cases, the label may be formed from two or more layers, each layer having a different color. In some cases, the length of the label may have a first portion and a second portion. The thickness of the label may comprise substantially equal portions of the first layer and the second layer at the first portion and the thickness of the label may be predominately formed from one of the layers at the second portion.
MEDIUM, CONTAINER, OBJECT-HOLDING CONTAINER, MARKING DEVICE, AND METHOD OF MANUFACTURING CONTAINER
A medium, a container, an object-holding container, a marking, device, and a method of manufacturing the container. The medium includes an image of design, and the design includes a light color portion and a dark color portion, the light color portion including a light reflecting layer, and the dark color portion including a light attenuation layer The container includes a laser beam source to emit a laser beam, a forming unit to make the laser beam perform marking on a container that has transparency and is colorless or colored, and an adjuster to adjust a marking condition according to information about a to-lie-contained object stored in the container. The method includes irradiating the container with a laser beam to form a light reflecting layer and a light attenuation layer, and the light reflecting layer and the light attenuation layer includes an aggregate of microstructures.
Returnable shipping container
Structures and a method for restraining a package within a returnable shipping container are provided to eliminate the need for buffering or filler materials (dunnage), particularly those materials that are environmentally unfriendly and otherwise likely to be discarded. Desirable shipping containers intended for reuse are provided with various features which enhance their utilization in a cycle of transportation out from and back to a source. These features include those associated with security, integrity, protection from the environment, addressing, automation, payment, inspection, education in volume for return, facilitation for tracking the container throughout the transport route and assurance of its eventual return.
RIGID TRAY CONTAINER AND METHOD OF USE
Embodiments of this disclosure include a rigid tray container and methods and equipment for using the rigid tray container in batched process operations. In one embodiment, a mass container is sized and dimensioned to receive one or several rigid tray containers. In other embodiments, equipment is configured to lid/unlid, secure, stack, load/unload, and buffer rigid tray containers. In other embodiments, equipment is configured to stack and stage mass containers. In some embodiments, methods are provided for batch processing items.
RECLOSABLE MULTI-ARTICLE CONFECTIONARY PRODUCT PACKAGING AND METHODS WITH MULTI-LAYER GRAPHIC BRANDING
A reclosable hard shell transparent container for a confectionary product includes an inner graphic branding element extending interior to the receptacle, an outer graphic branding element extending exterior to the receptacle, and overwrap layer that collectively provide visually superimposed branding graphics to provide visually distinct packages utilizing the same container. The inner graphic layer facilitates a subassembly of the confectionary products for ease of loading the confectionary product in the container.
FLEXIBLE SHIPPING PACKAGE AND METHOD OF MAKING
A shipping package and method of making a shipping package having a flexible inner sheet having a first surface and a second surface. The method includes providing one or more sheets of flexible material, joining the sheet(s) to form an article reservoir for accepting an article to be shipped, one or more expansion chambers, and an article retrieval feature. The expansion chambers can be inflated or otherwise expanded to provide structure to the package and to protect the article in the article reservoir.
Medical Device Package With Flip Cap Having a Snap Fit
A package for a medical device such as an intermittent catheter has a case with open and closed ends. A hinge connects a cap to the case to permit movement of the cap between open and closed positions. A seal connected to one of the cap and case is engageable with the other to maintain a sterile environment inside the package. The seal can be repeatedly made and broken whenever the user closes or opens the cap. The case includes a pair of slots at the open end. A pair of latches is formed in the cap. The latches fit into the slots to prevent lateral forces from distorting the cap when the cap is closed. A first use indication label spans a depression in the outer contour of a closed cap and case, assuring visual confirmation of breach of the label upon first opening of the cap.
Paper Lid and Method for Producing Paper Lid
A paper lid for a container includes a body portion, a top lid portion having an outer periphery surrounded by the body portion, and an engaging portion in the body portion that includes a tapered portion tapering in the same direction as the container taper and engages with the container curl portion. The body portion has a first end portion for mounting on the container and an opposite second end portion. The outer periphery is bent toward the first end portion, and has a bent portion bonded to the body portion. A part other than the outer periphery is between the engaging portion and the second end portion. An inner diameter of a tip of the tapered portion is smaller than an outer diameter of the container curl portion. Where the lid closes the container opening, the container curl portion contacts an inner part of the tapered portion.
