Shipping Containers
Described herein are collapsible containers for transportation of cargo, and methods of using them. The containers may include textured bottom surfaces to facilitate positive engagement with a conveyor. In some embodiments, the containers include secure locking mechanisms that prevent inadvertent unlocking while also permitting one-handed operation. In some embodiments, the containers include adapters to facilitate discharge of liquid cargo.

Packaging film having direct food contact identifiers and method of making thereof
Method for producing a packaging film strip for providing a number of individual packaging film parts for packing food or beverages, wherein the packaging film contains for each designated individual packaging film part an area having a printed two-dimensional code as unique packaging or product identifier. The process comprises the steps of providing at least one first substrate film strip (10, 25), applying on one side of said at least one first substrate film strip (10, 25) an artwork printing (20) for each individual packaging film part, depositing a DFC ink area (28) for each individual packaging film part onto the surface of the substrate film strip (10, 12) lying opposite to the artwork printing (20), slitting the packaging film to provide a series of individual packaging film parts running along the longside of the packaging film, ablating the individual DFC ink areas (28) by a computer-controlled laser beam (8) for providing a predetermined and individual code (2, 3, 30) as unique packaging or product identifier, cleaning the surface of the film strip comprising the individual codes (2, 3, 30), and checking the quality of the codes (2, 3, 30).
Paper-based multi-card package
An improved paper-based, multi-card package comprises a paper-based carrier and a plurality of cards each being paper-based and having machine-readable indicia indicative of a corresponding account. The cards may be provided as prepaid cards. The carrier may include a center panel, wherein the cards are positioned adjacent to a first side of the center panel. The carrier may further comprise a side flap adjoined to and folded over the center panel to define a seamless edge, and a side panel adjoined to the center panel and folded over and securely connected to portions of the first side of the center panel and the folded side flap to define another seamless edge, wherein the cards are disposed in a secure, enclosed space within the carrier.

The system has a plurality of cups, wherein each of the plurality of cups comprises a unique matrix code, a smartphone comprising a user interface, a camera, a memory storing instructions, and a processor configured to execute the instructions to configure, by the processor, the camera to scan one or more matrix codes, scan, by the camera, a matrix code, wherein the matrix code comprises data representing which of the plurality of cups the scanned cup is, determine, by the processor, that the scanning of the matrix code is completed; scan, by the camera, the users face to associate the user with one of the plurality of cups, automatically populate, by the processor, the user interface with the data representing the user based on the scanned matrix code and scanned face. The cup has a fiber consisting essentially of a polyethylene terephthalate polymer composition is disclosed.

Systems, methods, and apparatuses for marking a container for tracking and tracing the container throughout the lifecycle of the container. The mark can be applied, for example, on the closed end, bottom dome, or an end closure of the container. Tracking and tracing a container at various points during its lifecycle such as point of sale, where the container is recycled or destroyed, etc. provides valuable information that can be used to improve and incentivize recycling and deposit return public policies and environmental programs.

A shipping box includes a plurality of sides and a plurality of bladders. The sides are arranged as a rectangular solid with fixed sides and a top side. The top side includes an openable cover for access to an interior of the rectangular solid. The rectangular solid has a size determined based on dimensions of an object placed in the interior of the rectangular solid. The bladders are arranged on each of the sides and configured to be inflated as a cushioning mechanism for the object while placed in the interior of the rectangular solid. The bladders are made of a material based on a weight of the at least one object.
Systems and Methods for Tamper-Resistant Securing Device for a Container
In some embodiments, systems and methods for a tamper-resistant securing device for use with a closeable container include a housing assembly, a lock member, and an identifier. The housing assembly can be configured to be moved from a sealed configuration to an unsealed configuration. The lock member can be at least partially enclosed within the housing assembly and the lock member can be configured to be moved between an unlocked orientation and a locked orientation. The identifier can be accessible when the lock member is in the locked orientation. The housing assembly and the lock member are configured to inhibit or permit movement of the lock member based on the sealed or unsealed configuration of the housing assembly.
PACKAGING FOR AN AEROSOL DELIVERY DEVICE AND CONSUMABLE COMPONENTS
The present disclosure is directed to various packaging devices or arrangements and the blanks configured to form the inner and outer packages that make up the devices. The blanks typically include a plurality of panels that are folded and bonded together to define a compartment when formed into a package. The compartment may be employed to store a consumable product, such as cartridges for an aerosol delivery device. Related methods for forming the blanks into the packages are also provided.
COLLAPSIBLE SECURITY CONTAINER FOR PACKAGES
A collapsible security container is disclosed. The collapsible security container comprises a collapsible box and a hinged-lid connected to the collapsible box. The collapsible box comprises a bottom panel: a front panel, a left side panel, a right side panel and a back panel connected to the bottom panel by fold lines along respective edges of the bottom panel, wherein the bottom panel, front panel, left side panel, right side panel and back panel define an interior compartment. A locking system secures the hinged-lid to the collapsible box. A strap is attached to the collapsible box. The strap has an attachment end that is attached to the collapsible box and a free end that terminates in a fastener or stopper for securing the security container about or to a structure such as a door or wall.
