CONTAINER CLOSURE NODE SYSTEM

A container closure node system includes a closure chassis coupling device that couples to a container closure for a container aperture. The closure chassis coupling device includes a first plate member that includes a first securing element and a second securing element. The closure chassis coupling device also includes a second plate member that includes a third securing element that is configured to couple to the first securing element and a fourth securing element that is configured to couple to the second securing element. At least one of the first plate member and the second plate member includes a container closure engagement member that is configured to engage the container closure to prevent rotational movement of the closure chassis coupling device relative to the container closure when the third securing element is coupled with the first securing element and the fourth securing element is coupled with the second securing element.

Systems and methods for internal and external monitoring for an environmental anomaly within a shipping container with responsive reporting to an external transceiver and initiating a mediation response directly with an onboard fire

Systems and method are described for detecting and responding to an environmental anomaly in a shipping container transported by a transit vehicle having an onboard fire suppression system. Systems generally have a set of ID nodes within the container and another set outside the container, and a command node mounted to the container. The command node's processor is programmed to monitor both sets of ID nodes per their respective ID node communication profiles for unanticipated cessation of ID node broadcasting, detect an unresponsive group of ID nodes based on the monitoring, determining if the group includes ID nodes from which set of ID nodes, identifying the anomaly when the unresponsive group's size exceeds a threshold setting, generate an alert notification, and transmit the alert notification to the external transceiver or the fire suppression system directly based on an alert level setting so as to initiate different levels of mediation response.

MODULAR CARGO SYSTEM

A system for palletizing cargo includes a number of components that may be combined to produce an assembled pallet of cargo. A pallet base provides a cargo area where a payload may be stacked. The pallet base includes protective features such as feet that raise the payload above surface level, bumpers that prevent and absorb impacts to the pallet base, and a rim that encircles the cargo area. A pallet top is placed on top of the payload, opposite the pallet base, and a set of straps are used to connect the pallet base to the pallet top and friction fit the payload therebetween. Each of the base and top include a series of holes and spacers that allow airflow to pass around the bottom and top of the payload, while the bumpers allow airflow around the sides, even when the assembled pallets are surrounded by other cargo.
