IMPROVED CONTAINER OF CONSUMER ARTICLES COMPRISING AN ELEMENT OF DISCERNIBLE THICKNESS
A container for consumer goods is formed from a laminar blank (100; 300) having a blank thickness (T1); and a three dimensional element (104; 304) having a thickness (T2) from about 50 micrometres to about 500 micrometres. An inner surface of a first wall of the container comprises an affixing area (108) for at least partly receiving the element (104), the affixing area (108) comprising a debossed or ablated area having a residual thickness (T3) less than the blank thickness. The element (104) is affixed to N the container by means of adhesive provided on the debossed or ablated zone of the affixing area (108). A difference between the blank thickness (T1) and the residual thickness (T3) is less than the element thickness (T2), such that the element (104) projects beyond the inner surface of the container by an incremental thickness (T4) less than the element thickness (T2). Further, the container comprises a thickness compensating means (112; 312) on a region of the inner surface of the container.
SYSTEMS AND METHODS FOR ALERTING UNAUTHORIZED ACCESS INTO A CONTAINER
The present disclosure provides devices, systems and methods for monitoring unauthorized access into a container or bottle, and alerting the authorized user, or someone designated by the authorized user, of any unauthorized access.
Container arrangement including a wireless communication device and method for operating the same
A container arrangement (100) is disclosed, which is preferably destined for pharmaceutical products. The container arrangement includes a container body (110) and a first wireless communication systems (210) composed of a NFC system (210) including an NFC antenna (141). The container arrangement further includes a first and/or a second sensing-switching arrangement (143; 280) configured to include a preset status inhibiting a standardized operability of the first wireless communication system (210). The first sensing-switching arrangement (143) is configured to deregulate its preset status upon an initial opening event and the second sensing-switching arrangement (280) is configured to deregulate its preset status upon an unloading event.
RECYCLABLE CONTAINER CLOSURE HAVING INFORMATIONAL AND/OR ANTI-COUNTERFEITING CAPABILITIES
A “smart” closure system, apparatus, and method are contemplated. The closure includes mechanical capture and release mechanisms, electromechanical and/or optical indicators, wireless technologies, and/or web-based or remote authentication, verification, and serialization via remotely located data servers. A mobile computing device may further augment certain functions. The resulting system allows for anti-counterfeiting, authentication, serialization, and other capabilities.
COUNTERFEIT, TAMPER AND REFILL EVIDENT PACKAGING
A container (200) is provided. The container (200) comprises a mouth (202), a cap (204) for operably exposing or closing the mouth (202), a sealing layer (206) on top of the mouth (202) and a security label (208) which is scannable. At least a portion (204a) of the cap (204) is transparent. The security label (208) is disposed over the sealing layer ((206) below the transparent cap (204) and the security label (208) is machine scannable.
A TAMPER-EVIDENT CLOSURE COMPRISING A RFID TAG
A tamper-evident closure (101) for a container neck comprises a first portion (105, 106), a second portion (102, 104) comprising a window (103) through which a view of the first portion is visible, a locking mechanism, and an RFID device (107) associated with the first portion (105, 106). The second portion (102, 104) is rotatable relative to the first portion (105, 106) upon first opening of the tamper-evident closure (101) from a first position in which the first and second portions (105, 106; 102, 104) are in a first relative relation and the RFID device (107) is aligned with the window (103) and is readable, to a second position in which the first and second portions (105, 106; 102, 104) are in a second relative relation and the RFID device (107) is masked by the second portion (102, 104) and is not readable.
Multi-function compact appliance and methods for a food or item in a container with a container storage technology
A multi-function appliance and methods and systems for manufacturing, producing, preparing, packaging, displaying, selling and marketing perishable food or items in a container with a container storage technology for use with select consumer goods or household appliances. A method and system for the use of multiple brand logos or names and communicative indicia on a container or product packaging wherein at least one of the brand logos or names, such as a secondary or tertiary brand logo or name can be used to represent different or distinct products, services or benefits from the primary brand logo or name.
Communication method and packing box
A communication method according to an embodiment of the present invention is performed between a communication device and an electrical apparatus by use of non-contact short-range wireless communication method. The electrical apparatus includes a built-in antenna in the vicinity of a first region of a surface exposed to the outside of the electrical apparatus. The antenna is provided for non-contact short-range wireless communication with the communication device. The communication method includes the steps of: preparing a storage box to which information is provided at a predetermined position on an exterior surface of the storage box, the information indicating where the antenna is placed; storing the electrical apparatus in power-off state, into the storage box, and thereby placing the electrical apparatus in the storage box such that the first region of the electrical apparatus is close to the predetermined position of the storage box; and moving the communication device close to the predetermined position of the storage box to initiate communication between the communication device and the electrical apparatus.
Food preparation
Devices and methods for RF heating of food, using techniques which allow uniformity and/or controlled non-uniformity.
Packaging paperboard and method for manufacturing same
A packaging paperboard is provided that includes two or more layers with an antenna pattern printed on one layer of the two or more layers, and an RFIC element adhered to the other layer of the two or more layers. In a laminate having the layers stuck together, the RFIC element and the antenna pattern are interposed between the layers to configure an RFIC device in which the RFIC element and the antenna pattern are electrically connected.
