The PST includes: a backscatter antenna; a radio-frequency identification (RFID) communicative with the backscatter antenna; and at least one sensor communicative with the backscatter antenna. Responsive to a ringing from a radio frequency transceiver, the backscatter antenna provides the RFID and data from the at least one sensor. The RFID and the data are then processed to provide usage information of the consumable to a user via a dashboard available at least on a smartphone and on a desktop.
