An inventory tracking system includes a tracking device coupled to a transport structure that is designed to carry items. The tracking device includes a processor as well as several modules operatively connected to the processor for determining the location of the transport structure. The tracking device determines location using a short-range communication module when the tracking device is within a storage facility. When outside of the storage facility, the tracking device determines a location of the transport structure using a satellite navigation module. A mobile communication module is used to determine the location of the transport structure if neither the short-range communication module nor the satellite navigation module is successful.

A heating profile of a microwave oven is modified using microwaves at a plurality of frequencies. A power of transmission to a cavity of the microwave oven of microwaves is defined at each of the plurality of frequencies. A duration is defined for which the microwaves are transmitted at each of the plurality of frequencies. For each of the plurality of frequencies, a proportion of power input to the cavity that is not output from the cavity is measured. The measured proportions am used to modify the power of transmission at each frequency, the duration of transmission at each frequency or both.

Disclosed is a package obtained by folding a sheet of conveniently cut and creased corrugated cardboard onto itself. The package includes multiple walls and wall linings which are at least partially opposed to one another. Certain wall linings are glued to the walls against which they are opposed in order to prevent the package from opening due to the cardboard sheet with which it is made being unfolded. An electrically conductive track is printed on the cardboard sheet at the inner face of the latter so that an opening of the package causes damage to the track. Each of the wall linings glued to one or more walls of the package includes an easy tear-off-line intersecting the conductive track.
