A switch film comprising: a flexible film substrate; a switch supported by the flexible film substrate, the switch having a state consisting of one of: normally-open and normally closed, the switch configured to change its state upon application of at least a predetermined force; and an electronic circuit supported by the flexible film substrate and connected to the switch and configured to wirelessly transmit a signal upon change of state of the switch.

Systems and methods for sharing resources between multiple processing streams are described. An example method may comprise: receiving data by an electronic display device attached to an object; determining, by the electronic display device, whether the data satisfies a criterion; responsive to determining that the data satisfies the criterion, generating a first message based on the data; wirelessly transmitting the first message to a computing device that is wirelessly connected to the electronic display device; receiving a second message from the computing device; and displaying at least one of the first message or the second message by the electronic display device.

A security packaging (10) provides multi-layer laminate structure for providing evidence of package tampering. The packaging may include a first panel (12) having an opening (18) therein in planar contact with an insert member (16) and a film layer (20). The film layer (20) may include a pattern layer (32) that may be adhered to the film layer (20) via an adhesion layer (48). A second adhesion layer (52) may be placed onto the pattern layer (32) to adhere the pattern layer (32) to the insert member (16).

A display hanger is disclosed including a first and a second panel, at least one stress-relief member formed in one of the first or second panel, the stress-relief member having an inner surface that is secured to an inner surface of an opposing panel of the hanger, for example by an adhesive. The at least one stress-relief member moves stress away from the leading edge of the adhesive and more evenly distributes the stress across a wider area of the base of the display hanger. This results in the adhesive being under lower stress, which reduces adhesive failure in less than desirable situations since the display hanger material becomes the point on failure instead of the adhesive bond.

A beverage dispensing system comprises a container, an attachment mechanism, and a cartridge. The container may hold a mixing solution or liquid, such as water, to be mixed with the contents of the cartridge. The attachment mechanism is generally located within the container. The cooking apparatus is capable of interacting with a user of the cooking apparatus to further assist the cooking process started as a result of reading or detecting coded information printed on or otherwise associated with food packaging. The cooking apparatus capable of connecting to a remote computer and server and receiving and displaying web pages generated by the remote server to further assist the cooking process.
