Placement of tracking devices on pallets

Various approaches for attaching tracking devices to pallets allow pallets to be remotely tracked through any phase of a transportation lifecycle. In a first approach, one or more electronic components of a tracking device may be disposed within a cavity of a block of a pallet. In a second approach, one or more electronic components of a tracking device may be disposed within a strut that interfaces between two beams of a pallet. In a third approach, one or more electronic components of a tracking device may be disposed within a cavity of a beam.

Hard tag applicator

Systems and methods for coupling a tag to an item. The methods comprise: dispensing the tag from a tag feeder of a tag applicator; performing first operations by the tag applicator to mechanically move the tag into a nest of the tag applicator; determining if a given criteria is met based on feedback information received from at least one of a user of the tag applicator and a sensor provided with the tag applicator; and performing second operations by the tag applicator to couple the tag to the item, when a determination is made that the given criteria is met.

Modular and reusable packaging system
12304694 · 2025-05-20 ·

A modular and reusable packaging system has a plurality of interconnecting pieces. The pieces have a rigid construction and are configured to connect with adjacent pieces to form the walls of the shipping container. The system also has a closure piece having a locking mechanism configured to releasably engage with at least two of the plurality of pieces when the locking mechanism is operated to securely lock the pieces together. Container forming pieces may have tracking devices that can be used to track location and use, for example. The tracking device may be an RFID tag attached to one or more of the plurality of pieces.

Enhanced Shipping Container Apparatus having Integrated Fire Suppression and Systems Using the Same for Detecting and Responding to an Environmental Anomaly within the Container
20250180531 · 2025-06-05 ·

An enhanced shipping container apparatus that maintains packages is described having integrated fire suppression. The apparatus has a container base supporting the packages, multiple container walls coupled to the container base, and a container top coupled to each of the container walls. A fire suppression panel is integrated as part of one or more of the walls and top portion, and has a support sheet of fire resistant material; an interior exposed sheet of temperature sensitive material; a sealed boundary connecting the support sheet and interior exposed sheet on peripheral edges (where the sealed boundary, support sheet and interior exposed sheet define a holding cavity), and integrated fire suppression material in the holding cavity. The temperature sensitive material of the interior exposed sheet releases the integrated fire suppressant material from within the holding cavity when the temperature sensitive material of the interior exposed sheet is exposed to a threshold temperature.

TAMPER RESISTANT CLIPS FOR MODULAR SHIPPING CONTAINER

A temperature-controlled shipper may comprise a temperature-controlled enclosure, a tray, an outer enclosure, and a lid, wherein the tray may be securely coupled to the temperature-controlled enclosure to resist tampering with a payload located in the temperature-controlled enclosure. The secure coupling of the temperature-controlled enclosure and the tray may be achieved using securely fastened or attached loops on both the temperature-controlled enclosure and the tray, wherein each tamper-resistant tie is secured after looping through one loop on the temperature-controlled enclosure and one loop on the tray to prevent access to the payload.

SECURE SMART CONTAINER ASSEMBLY, SYSTEMS, AND METHODS

A mobile smart container system comprises a housing, an access component configured to secure access to a compartment within the housing when in a closed position, a communication interface configured to wirelessly receive a request to access the compartment, a perceivable output device, an electromechanical latch configured to engage with the access component to releasably lock the access component in the closed position, and a processor. The processor receives and authenticates the request to access the compartment and, in response to receiving and authenticating the request, activates the electromechanical latch to unlock the access component to make the compartment accessible, and outputs, upon actuation of the electromechanical latch, an alert via the perceivable output device to identify the smart container system.

Composition for fertilization and treating trees, shrubs and climbing plants with programmed release of the active substance that at the injection location induces formation of a clump of young roots that become the mouth of the tree
12342816 · 2025-07-01 · ·

The disclosed composition for fertilization and treating trees, shrubs and climbing plants with programmed release of the active substance is comprising the active substance stored in capsules made by nanoencapsulation or microencapsulation method and wherein based on capsule membrane the time of release of the active substance is adjusted. The active component stored in the nanocapsules or microcapsules can be such that it acidifies the surrounding soil in the range of pH 2.5 to pH 6.5. One example of such active component is the use of citric acid, which is completely ecological and does not create environmental pollution. Also, the active component in the nanocapsules can be such that it regulates the acidity of the soil in the range of pH 6.5 to pH 7.0. Furthermore, the active component in the special capsules can be an insecticide and/or in the special capsules fungicide, and/or in the special capsules acaricide and/or in the special capsules pheromone and/or in the special capsules repellent.

Reusable portable shipping container

A reusable shipper container has a container body with a payload chamber for holding goods and a lid operable to access the payload chamber. The reusable shipper container also has one or more sensors in the payload chamber to senses a humidity or temperature of the payload chamber or the goods. The reusable shipper container also has a tablet display screen detachably coupled to the container body that communicates with the sensors in the payload chamber.

The invention relates to a closure cap to be placed on the neck of a drinks bottle. The invention has the object of providing a closure cap which bears as a closure seal against the top of the bottle neck. According to the invention, this is achieved by an upper breakthrough in the closure cap. into which an internally inserted disc-like decorative item engages. the closure cap having at least in part a retaining bead that runs parallel to the top of the closure cap and projects into the cap. into which retaining bead are inserted a liner plate also running parallel to the cap top and the decorative item engaging in the top. This liner plate secures the decorative item in the position in the top of the closure cap and bears as a closure seal against the top of the bottle neck.
