A blow molded article having a body portion that includes one or more walls surrounding an interior space. The one or more walls have an article inner surface, an article outer surface, and a wall thickness. At least a portion of the one or more walls includes one or more effect structures each having an effect surface normal having an orientation. Further there is a first region including a plurality of first effect structures having a first Average Normal Orientation, a second region including a plurality of second effect structures having a second Average Normal Orientation which is different from the first Average Normal Orientation, and a visual effect resulting from the difference between the first Average Normal Orientation of the effect structures in the first region and the second Average Normal Orientation of the effect structures in the second region.

A wine bottle is provided with a punt at a lower end which includes a cork retainer therein. A cork which closes an opening at an upper end of the bottle, can thus be stored within the cork retainer in the punt of the bottle, when not in use closing the opening. In one embodiment, the cork retainer includes two retainer surfaces which are opposing each other horizontally, and spaced apart by a length similar to opposing portions of the cork to allow the cork to fit tightly between these retainer surfaces. Space above the retainer surfaces can hold a foil wrap with the cork within the cork retainer and holding the foil wrap in place. The cork and foil can thus remain with the bottle before, during and after use. Full re-use of the bottle is thus facilitated. In one embodiment, the bottle has an octagonal shape so that multiple bottles can be shipped together and placed adjacent each other with flat surfaces distributing loads therebetween, without forces concentrated at points thereof, and to keep the bottles in good shape for washing, re-filling and re-use.

Disclosed is a product pouch arrangement and method of (for) manufacture thereof. The product pouch arrangement includes at least a first compartment and a second compartment, the first compartment in use includes a plurality of shock cushioning elements that cushion the one or more products, and also optically protect the one or more products, the second compartment accommodates in use the one or more products, at least one of the first and second compartments are resealable so that the one or more products and/or the plurality of cushioning elements are user-accessible and the first and second compartments have surrounding walls that are fabricated from at least one flexible plastics material that transmits electromagnetic radiation in a wavelength range to which a human eye responds but attenuates radiation in an ultra violet (UV) electromagnetic wavelength range.

Method of making a blow molded article from a preform including: a) providing a preform of a thermoplastic material having a plurality of effect structures each having an effect surface having a normal with an orientation, the preform having a body with one or more walls and an opening, wherein at least a portion of the one or more walls of the preform has a three-dimensional pattern of cavities and/or protrusions thereon; and b) blow molding the preform to form a blow molded article, wherein the step of blow molding the preform changes the orientation of the normal of at least some of the effect surfaces of the effect structures to create a visual effect in at least one wall of the blow molded article.

A packaging container for a tobacco product is provided. The packaging container comprises a housing including a flexible wall portion having an electrical device printed or placed on an exterior surface thereof, and a power source contained within the interior of the housing and configured to power the electrical device. The flexible wall portion comprises a layer including a nanocellulose coating configured to level the exterior surface for receipt of the electrical device, and a layer including a moisture vapor barrier configure to resist diffusion of moisture through the exterior surface and into an interior of the housing.

The packaging can receive the home goods product in a folded configuration. The packaging can display a first side of the home goods product and a second side of the home goods product, respectively. The materials of the first and second sides may differ by the fabric composition of the material and/or the color of the material.

The present invention is directed to a thermoplastic bag comprised of a front panel and a back panel. The front panel and back panel are generally joined along a first side edge, a second side edge, and a bottom edge of the respective front panel and back panel. The front panel has a distal edge with the distal edge folded over the front panel to provide a hem and an overlap area immediately below the first hem. The overlap encapsulates a scent carrier that provides a scent to the thermoplastic bag.
