Internal vent handle cover arrangement; and methods

Aspects and techniques of the present disclosure relate to an internal cover/vent handle arrangement, in association with a container, such as a 5 gallon bucket with a slanted sidewall for evacuating air volume above stored material. The disclosure relates to a squeeze-actuated vent valve arrangement arranged and configured to be easily operated even while deeply recessed in the bucket. The disclosure also relates to a deflectable outer seal arrangement configured to seal against a slanted sidewall of a bucket.

A FUEL CONTAINER
20220194663 · 2022-06-23 ·

A fuel container comprises: a body defining a volume for receiving fuel. The body has an inlet and optionally a vent. The inlet extends upwards as a spout and has a threaded collar which is closed by a threaded cap. A gas expansion pathway is provided between the inlet and the vent.

The spout has a guide for receiving and locating a dog-leg portion of a fuel dispenser nozzle. A restriction in the throat of the spout prevents the fuel dispenser nozzle being inserted beyond a preselected distance into the container thereby preventing backwash and spillage.

A multipurpose container (1;100;200) for hot or cold ready-to-eat food is described, said container having a containing base (2) and a lid (12) for closing said base (2), both made of a metallic food-grade material, said base (2) and/or said lid (12) having at least one through-hole (16) for allowing vapors to escape, the container being characterized in that said base (2) and said lid (12) are made of a thin sheet of metallic material having a thickness of between 0.1 mm and 0.5 mm, preferably between 0.2 mm and 0.4 mm.

Container lid

The disclosure provides a container lid including a resealable closure mechanism. The container lid includes a lid housing having a recess, a rim, an opening, and a connector portion. The container lid additionally contains a sliding actuator that moves in a first direction and a second direction. Further, the container lid has a sealing mechanism that moves in a third direction and a fourth direction, wherein the third direction and the fourth direction are in a plane of movement which is perpendicular to the first direction and the second direction.

Vent valve for closed tank

A vent valve for a closed tank, the vent valve being provided in an upper surface of the closed tank storing liquid, may include an upper housing provided with an upper air hole disposed outside the closed tank; a lower housing provided with a lower air hole disposed inside the closed tank; and a valve core provided in a housing space area surrounded by the upper housing and the lower housing and providing a ventilation path through which only gas passes between the upper air hole and the lower air hole.

DOUBLE-LAYERED CONTAINER
20230271741 · 2023-08-31 · ·

A double-layered container including an inner and outer container. A mouth, body and bottom portion respectively extend from top to bottom along a bottle axis. An outside air introduction hole is provided. A diameter of an intermediate portion between an upper and lower end of the body portion is smaller than a diameter of the lower end portion. The intermediate and lower end portions are connected via a step portion. A bottom wall portion includes a ground contact portion and depressed portion. A distance of the outer container inner surface from a connection portion to an outer peripheral edge portion of the ground contact portion in a vertical cross-sectional view along the bottle axis is 1.15 times or less a distance along the outer container inner surface and the bottle axis to an inner peripheral edge portion of the ground contact portion in the vertical cross-sectional view.

Double-walled beverage container and method of forming the same

Provided are ceramic compositions and containers, in each case comprising a ceramic (e.g., porcelain, stoneware, porcelain, or ceramic composition having properties of both) composition to which an amount of alumina has been added to provide a ceramic composition comprising 20% to 25% (wt./wt.) alumina, preferably about 22% (wt./wt.) alumina, providing a stronger material, such that wall thicknesses (e.g., of double-walled beverage containers) can be reduced or minimized to create a lighter double-walled ceramic container. The disclosed containers have a chemical and porous structure suitable for a wide array of stoneware glazes, and display water absorption rate properties comparable to stoneware. Methods of making same are provided.

DOUBLE CONTAINER

A double container includes an inner container and an outer container, has a mouth portion, a body portion and a bottom portion disposed in this order from top to bottom along a direction of a bottle axis, and includes an outside air introduction hole. The bottom wall portion of the bottom portion includes a ground contact portion and a recessed portion. A peripheral wall portion of the depressed portion extends inward in a radial direction as it goes upward. A plurality of ridge portions protruding radially inward are provided on the peripheral wall portion of the depressed portion at intervals in a circumferential direction. The peripheral wall portion of the depressed portion or the ridge portion extends inward in the radial direction via a step portion as it goes upward.

CONTAINER SEAL OVER-PRESSURE VENT MECHANISM

A container assembly includes a vessel and a lid removably coupled to the vessel. The lid includes a circumferential rim at an interface with the vessel, wherein the rim is separated from the vessel by a gap, wherein the gap is open to the atmosphere outside the container. The container includes a gasket disposed at a sealing position between the lid and the vessel to seal a reservoir of the vessel from the gap. The rim includes a recess extending circumferentially along a first portion of the rim. The recess forms a portion of the gap and defines a venting zone extending circumferentially along the first portion of the rim. In response to the internal reservoir of the vessel reaching a threshold pressure, a portion of the gasket moves from the sealing position through the gap such that fluid held in the reservoir is vented past the gasket through the venting zone to reduce the pressure of the reservoir.
