The oropharyngeal dam includes a tongue protector including an upper protector component, a lower protector component and a tongue protecting sheet. Furthermore, the upper protector component, the lower protector component and the tongue protecting sheet are collectively configured to shield and retract a tongue of the patient. The set of lip retractors are configured to aid lip retraction when pulled outside the mouth.

An oropharyngeal dam for facilitating a safe and efficient dental treatment is disclosed. The oropharyngeal dam includes a pair of cheek retractors including an upper retractor component, a lower retractor component and a cheek retracting sheet. Further, the upper retractor component, the lower retractor component, the cheek retracting sheet, and a set of lip retractors are collectively configured to retract cheeks of a patient. The oropharyngeal dam includes a tongue protector including an upper protector component, a lower protector component and a tongue protecting sheet. Furthermore, the upper protector component, the lower protector component and the tongue protecting sheet are collectively configured to shield and retract a tongue of the patient. In one embodiment, an aspiration prevention system is configured to keep items from moving from a mouth of a patient into a throat of the patient. The system includes a mouth prop, a frame, and an air-permeable barrier. The mouth prop has a top surface configured to abut top teeth of the mouth, a bottom surface configured to abut bottom teeth of the mouth, and a frame coupling feature. The frame has a barrier retention feature configured to retain an air-permeable barrier, and a prop coupling feature that is attachable to the frame coupling feature of the mouth prop in a position in which the frame at least partially covers the throat.

A dental implant surgical guide and manufacturing method thereof are provided. The dental implant surgical guide comprises a retainer, a guide portion, and an indicator. Said guide portion is located on either the tongue side or the palatal side of a patient, and comprises a guiding groove corresponding to an implant hole and an opening being connected to the guiding groove; said indicator comprises an extension portion and a terminal, wherein the extension portion is extended from the retainer to an implant platform of a missing tooth portion, while the terminal indicates a location of the implant platform. Therefore, locations of the implant platform and the implant hole of the missing tooth portion will be positioned by the dental implant surgical guide when placing the dental implant surgical guide on the missing tooth portion.

A dental implant surgical guide and manufacturing method thereof are provided. The dental implant surgical guide comprises a retainer, a guide portion, and an indicator.
