CHEEK RETRACTOR
In order to improve the occupational safety of the treating personnel during a dental treatment of a patient, an apparatus is provided wherein the discharge of aerosols from the oral cavity during the dental treatment can be reduced to a particular extent or possibly completely prevented. To this end, a cheek retractor, in particular for holding the patient's mouth open during a dental treatment in the oral cavity or throat, is equipped with integrated suction, wherein a plurality of suction openings connected to a suction system are arranged on the lip support shell of the cheek retractor.
Dental Implant Apparatus and Methods
A dental surgical retraction article is manufactured by combining one or more aliphatic or cycloaliphatic isocyanates with one or more polyols including at least one polyether polyol that has a molecular weight of at least 2000.
Modular mouthpiece
A modular mouthpiece for soft tissue placement includes a base tray and soft tissue placement inserts. The soft tissue placement inserts are configured to be selectively coupled to the base tray.

Intraoral protection
An oral protection device including a dental wedge to be positioned between the dental arches of one side of the mouth, and a protection blade having a first portion which pushes against the tongue, and a second portion which engages with the other side of the mouth within the vestibule and having a blade extended by a turned-back section which forms a hook positioned at the labial commissure of the mouth.

DENTAL APPLIANCE
A dental appliance comprising: a tongue support element (1) with a trough (2) for the tongue, the trough having a concave inner surface and a convex outer surface; a tooth support element (3) with an upper and a lower bite surface (4a, 4b), which are arranged on the outer surface side of the tongue trough (2) so that the upper bite surface (4a) coincides with the lower bite surface (4b), only on an opposite side of the tongue trough (2), and so that a first end (5) of the inner surface of the tongue trough is between the upper and the lower bite surfaces (4a, 4b) of the tooth support element (3). The inner surface (6) of the tongue trough is directed sideways in relation to the tooth support element (3), the inner surface (6) of the tongue trough being arranged to receive a patient's tongue and to position it to a side of the oral cavity, partly between the bite surfaces (4a, 4b).

BITE BLOCK WITH A NEEDLE ALIGNMENT ATTACHMENT SYSTEM
A bite block with inclined surfaces fits between a patient’s upper and lower jaws to hold them apart and fixes the bite block position relative to the jaws. A support plate slides relative to the bite block to position a needle guide on the support plate along an axis of the support plate. A position stop on the support plate contacts the anterior border of the Ramus of the patient’s mandible to position the needle guide along the axis. A syringe needle is guided by the needle guide to a predetermined location to administer anesthetic, preferably to the inferior alveolar nerve as it enters the mandible. The needle guide is inclined to avoid gaging and a tongue depressor attached to the support plate positions the patient’s tongue.
