A mouthpiece includes a first body configured to be secured over one or more teeth of a user. The first body comprises a frame for location about at least one of a molar or a premolar of user, as a first bite pad between upper teeth and lower teeth. The first bite pad is molded in the frame while in situ in the mouth of the user and the first bite pad is formed by a PVS material. The first bite pad is in contact with at least one of a molar or a premolar of user, and the first bite pad defines an exterior shape of at least a portion of the teeth of a user. There is a similar second body with a connector between the first body and the second body and together these form the appliance for the user.

Disclosed is a smart lighting system for applying light to teeth in the context of tooth whitening. This particularly concerns teeth that have been provided with a light-curable whitening varnish. The system comprises a light-generating unit, a light-patterning unit, a mouth imaging unit, a mouth image sensing unit, and an image processing and control unit, and is adapted so as to allow the image processing and control unit to adjust the light-patterning unit on the basis of information obtained from the mouth image sensing unit. By doing so, prior to allowing the light-generating unit to emit light, it can be ensured that light emitted to assist tooth whitening, does not affect soft tissue.

The channeled body further comprises first and second ends, such that the channeled body of the first end is constructed to be received and nest within the channeled body of the second end, forming a connection therebetween.

A method of reducing counterfeit medicaments or reducing medicament abuse is provided, the method comprising making an oral appliance for delivering a medicament to teeth and/or soft tissue areas inside an oral cavity, the oral appliance comprising an interior surface having a medicament disposed in or on at least a portion of and/or all of the interior surface of the oral appliance, the interior surface being formed to fit contours of at least the portion of the teeth and/or soft tissue areas inside the oral cavity and being configured for holding the medicament in contact with at least the portion of the teeth and/or soft tissue areas inside the oral cavity to deliver the medicament thereto. In some embodiments, the oral appliance is used in a blockchain system.

An oral fixation apparatus according to an embodiment of the present disclosure includes a mouthpiece provided to be mounted in a mouth, and a pressing unit configured to move relative to the mouthpiece, wherein the pressing unit is configured to press a tongue in the mouth to any one side in the mouth. Through this configuration, the oral fixation apparatus may maintain the same intraoral state. The oral fixation apparatus may be stably mounted inside the mouth, such that radiation therapy may be effectively and stably performed.
