SYSTEMS AND METHODS FOR LOCKING PACKAGING CONTAINER
The technology disclosed herein includes a method of manufacturing a packaging apparatus including an outer sleeve and an inner sleeve. The method includes assembling the outer sleeve including a first glue lap and a bottom panel. Assembling the outer sleeve includes applying at least two glue lines on the first glue lap. Assembling the outer sleeve also includes folding the first glue lap onto the bottom panel such that the at least two glue lines adhere the first glue lap to the bottom panel. The method also includes assembling the inner sleeve using a second folder/gluer. The inner sleeve comprises a locking tab configured to interface the locking ridge of the outer sleeve to secure the inner sleeve within the outer sleeve. The method further includes assembling the packaging apparatus by inserting the inner sleeve into the outer sleeve.
CHILD-RESISTANT CLOSURE
The invention comprises a lid configured to close the open end of a container, wherein the lid comprises a track disposed at least partially circumferentially within a peripheral portion of the lid, at least one insertion point within the track, and at least one retention region within the track. A ring is disposed circumferentially about the container, wherein the ring comprises at least one post which is configured to be inserted into and removed from the at least one insertion point and retained within the retention region. At least one of the ring and the lid are circumferentially rotatable between a locked position, wherein the at least one post is within the at least one retention region and an unlocked position, wherein the at least one post is within the at least one insertion point.
CHILD-PROOF CONTAINER, PROCESS FOR MAKING THE SAME AND METHOD FOR OPENING SAID CONTAINER
A child-proof container including a storage, for housing a product, and a closure system configured for defining a closed condition and an open condition of the container. The container includes a first coupling portion carried by the closure system and a second coupling portion carried by the storage and configured for cooperating with the first coupling portion to define a locking condition in which said first and second coupling portions prevent the closure system from passing from the closed condition to the open condition.
Child resistant zipper closure system and rockable slider device and methods
A slider for a zipper closure includes a separator plow that is positionable between interlocking tracks of the zipper closure to open the zipper closure by pivoting an opening end of the slider in a direction toward a notch to position the plow between the interlocking closures. The slider can be disengaged by pivoting the slider so that the plow is outside of the interlocking tracks.
Child-resistant locking cap for laminated tubes with improved locking cap insert to reduce substance leakage after the locking cap is closed
A combination of a container made out of rolled laminated plastic or rolled laminated metal, combined with a child-resistant locking assembly between the container and a cap removably affixed to the container. The container includes a closed rear end, a front wall and a flexible sidewall between the closed rear end and the front. The cap includes a central post inserted into a dispensing opening in a dispensing nozzle of the contain to reduce the possibility of contents in the container seeping out of the dispensing nozzle after the sealing cap is affixed to the nozzle.
Tamper-evident and child-proof coupling system, container comprising such a coupling system, process of making said coupling system and said container
The present disclosure relates to a tamper-evident and child-proof coupling system. The coupling system includes a first base portion, a second base portion, a slit, and a closing septum. The first base portion includes a first coupling portion. The second base portion includes a second coupling portion. The first and second coupling portions are configured to define a priming configuration of the coupling system when the first and second coupling portion are engaged to each other. The slit is defined on the first base portion or the second base portion and is configured to receive an opening device. The opening device is configured to disengage the first and second coupling portions. The closing septum is adjustable to a first or second configuration. In the first configuration, the closing septum occludes the slit. In the second configuration, the closing septum is configured to expose the slit.
LOCKING CAP WITH PUSH BUTTON RESET
A locking cap having a push button reset and method for operating the locking cap having a push button reset are disclosed. The locking cap with a push button reset system is a deterrent to keep medications in the correct hands.
Child resistant senior friendly bottle packaging for liquids
In one embodiment there is provided a bottle assembly to dispense a liquid. The assembly includes a bottle, a syringe, a cap and collar. The assembly includes a child-resistant adult-friendly retaining portion to permit the removal of the cap and collar. The syringe is configured to draw liquid from the bottle at a precise dosage and then when the cap and collar is removed the user can expel the liquid.
Child resistant dial pack
A child resistant container comprising a tray and a cover is provided. The tray comprises a plurality of tray compartments arranged radially around a centrally disposed tray hub. Each tray compartment defines a cavity for holding one or more articles. The container is a “dial pack” type container, meaning the tray can be rotated with respect to the cover to expose each cavity in turn.
Rigid pack for smoking articles provided with a hinged lid
A pack for smoking articles having a group of smoking articles; an inner element with at least one wall; and a cup-shaped rigid outer container, housing the inner element and the group of smoking articles, and having an open upper end, a lower wall, oppositely disposed front and rear walls, and oppositely disposed side walls. A cup-shaped lid is hinged to the outer container to rotate, relative to the outer container, between open and closed positions to open and close the open upper end and has: an open lower end, an upper wall, oppositely disposed front and rear walls, and oppositely disposed side walls. The inner element is longitudinally shorter than the outer container coupled to the lid in the closed position and, keeping the lid in the closed position, can linearly slide inside the outer container along a longitudinal sliding direction, perpendicular to the outer container lower wall.
