A childproof containing bag is provided, which includes a main bag body, a first sealing strip, and a second sealing assembly. The first and second bag bodies are in an open state, and the first and second bag bodies are enclosed to form a containing space. The first sealing strip and the second sealing assembly are both arranged in the containing space. The second sealing strip and the first sealing strip are detachably sealed and connected. When the second sealing strip is sealed and connected to the first sealing strip, the sealing area between the second sealing strip and the first sealing strip separates the containing space into a first containing area and a second containing area. Children are unable to open the second and first sealing strips by pulling on the second bag body and the first bag body.

A child-resistant package is disclosed comprising at least one locking tab, at least one locking slot, the at least one locking slot engaging with the at least one locking tab when the child-resistant package is in a locked position. The at least one locking tab comprising memory properties to allow the at least one locking tab to releasably engage with the at least one locking slot. The at least one locking tab further comprising a corrugated material having flutes oriented in a flute direction and the memory properties including the at least one locking tab returning to the locked position after being in an unlocked position in response to being bent against the flute direction.

A tab member for use in a latchable slidable package. The tab member has opposed major faces connected by opposed side edges and comprises a body portion and a cut out defining a resiliently deformable latch member connected to the body portion by at least one live hinge. The latch member incorporates a latch formation that is moveable by a user in an unlatching direction substantially orthogonal to at least one side edge. The tab member is substantially planar, and the unlatching direction lies substantially in a plane of the tab member. The tab member can be incorporated into a latchable slidable package to provide child resistance by virtue of the latch member and the latch formation. The substantially planar nature of the tab member means that the tab member can be easily accommodated in the package. Because the unlatching direction of the latch formation lies substantially in a plane of the tab member, the movement of the latch formation as the package is unlatched is substantially restricted to the same plane. Thus, the volume of the package that must be given to accommodate the tab member and the movement of the latch formations can be kept low, thereby reducing the overall size and weight of the package.

A mechanism or feature incorporated into or on the lid of a one piece child-resistant container which allows customization of the container by attachment of an independent, separate ancillary piece or identifier cap to the lid. The identifier cap may snap onto or be pushed onto the lid in a secure manner.

A flexible pouch having a fitment with a neck having a large diameter and child safety cap is provided. The pouch is configured to hold a product not fit for human consumption, such a detergent. The large diameter neck makes the neck difficult to grip by a child so as to make it difficult for a child to manipulate the safety cap. Further, the child safety cap makes accessing the contents difficult for a child.

The present invention relates to a package (7) for pharmaceutical blister packs (12) comprising means (11) for removing the protecting foil of the blister packs. The package protects the blister packs (12) and at the same time provides an easy and convenient way of opening the blister pack for people at all level of ability and dexterity.

A child proof bin may include a first bin portion (such as a hollow receptacle) and a second bin portion (such as a lid) removably attachable to the first bin portion. The second bin portion includes a surface defining pairs of recesses positioned distance apart greater than the hand span of an average human child, activation mechanisms positioned respectively in the pairs of recesses such that the activation mechanisms do not extend above their respective recess, and attachment mechanisms each connected to one of the activation mechanisms operable to attach the second bin portion to the first bin portion. The activation mechanisms are operable to be activated to detach the second bin portion from the first bin portion.

A container with a lower part and a covering part has a latch portion which protrudes downwards formed on the covering part in order to interact with a latch engagement part of the lower part, a latching tongue which extends along the lower part being formed on the latch portion. The latching tongue extends below the latch engagement part of the container in the closed state so as to leave a direct open space between the inner face of the latching tongue and an opposing outer face of the container.

The present invention relates to an opening and closing apparatus capable of controlling opening same and a container provided with the apparatus, the opening and closing apparatus controlling opening the container by a user by means of: an opening and closing device, provided on a container main body for storing content, having a turning part necessary for opening the container main body on the outer surface of the opening and closing device, and opening and closing one end of the container main body; and a turning control part, separated from the opening and closing actions of the opening and closing device for controlling the operation of the turning part.

Examples include a box with a sidewall structure, a reversible lid with top and flanks, and a lock. At least a portion of the flanks covers at least a portion of the sidewall structure when the box is locked. The lock has an active actuator moveable from a locking to an opening position by applying pressure. The active actuator is connected to the portion of the sidewall structure and abuts against a locking tab of the lid when in the locking position. The flanks comprise an actuation area to displace the active actuator by applying the pressure. The box comprises a passive actuator paired to the active actuator. The paired actuators are 180 degrees from each other around the central axis. The passive actuator is inactivated by an inactivation configuration of the lid located at 180 degrees from the locking tab around the central axis.
