Child-deterrent packaging includes an enclosure having opposing first and second sidewalls coupled with each other. The child-deterrent packaging also includes a zipper assembly coupled with the first and second sidewalls of the enclosure. The zipper assembly includes first and second zipper portions that mate with each other to enclose product that release from each other to provide access to the product. The child-deterrent packaging also includes a peel seal providing a barrier to ingress of one or more of oxygen or moisture. The peel seal is one or more of: disposed between and coupling the first and second zipper portions with each other, disposed between and coupling an entry section of the first sidewall with the first zipper portion of the zipper assembly, or disposed between and coupling the entry section of the first sidewall with another portion of the first sidewall.

CONTAINER SYSTEM WITH A REMOVABLE CAP
20210276767 · 2021-09-09 ·

A container and methods of manufacturing and operating the same are provided where the container has a cap that is removable yet childproof. The cap is positioned in a tubular body, and the cap has a generally smooth or continuous upper surface to reduce or eliminate surfaces or edges for a child to grasp. To operate the cap, a disc in the center of the cap is pushed below a lip, and a user grasps the lip to pull the cap from the tubular body. The force needed to press the disc away from the lip is low enough for an adult but too high for a child. Moreover, the cap forms an interference fit with the tubular body with enough friction force to prevent the cap from falling out of the tubular body but is low enough that the cap can be pulled from the tubular body.

The present invention relates to a safeguard zipper bag, and more particularly, to a safeguard zipper bag that has a dual opening part in order to disperse force applied to the zipper bag, such that the safeguard zipper bag is difficult to open by outer opening parts and easy to open by inner opening parts, and the safety of the safeguard zipper bag is improved. A safeguard zipper bag according to the present invention may include: an envelope in the form of a bag; and a male zipper part and a female zipper part attached to inner surfaces of the envelope, in which one portion or the other portion of at least one of the male zipper part and the female zipper part, which is spaced apart, at a predetermined interval, from a portion where the male zipper part and the female zipper part are coupled by male/female engagement, is attached to the inner surface of the envelope. In this manner, it is possible to provide a low-cost, high-efficiency, and safe zipper bag which is not easy to primarily open due to dispersion of force without forming an additional accessory and increasing costs.

CHILD-RESISTANT CLOSURE SYSTEM

A child-resistant resealable container comprising a closure strip assembly having first and second lateral interlocking members. The first lateral interlocking member is attached to a first extension strip, and the second lateral interlocking member is attached to a second extension strip. The first and second extension strips are attached to the interior surfaces of the respective first and second walls below the top edge of the first and second walls such that a portion of the first and second walls extends to define first and second flaps. The first and second lateral interlocking members are configured to become disengaged from each other when the first flap and the second flap are pulled apart from each other as the first flap is gripped while the first extension strip is not gripped and the second flap is gripped while the second extension strip is not gripped.

Four-flange child-resistant zipper and bag

The present disclosure relates to a plastic or polymeric container (100) with reclosable zippers or reclosures (10) which make the package child-resistant. In one typical embodiment, this is achieved by a zipper or reclosure (10) including a first profile (12) with a first lower interlocking element (28) and a first upper interlocking element (29), wherein the first profile (12) is severed through the first upper interlocking element (29) to form a lower first profile (12) and an upper first profile (12). This severing forms at least one tab (18) extending from an upper edge of the lower first profile (12) and including a portion of the first upper interlocking element (29). The second profile (14) includes a second web portion (30) with a second lower interlocking element (44) and a second upper interlocking element (46).
