PLUG BODY AND BEVERAGE CONTAINER
A plug body includes (a) a spout part, (b) a plug including a fitting part and removably fitted to an inner side of the spout part, and (c) a sealing member in a ring shape attached to a lower side of the fitting part of the plug. When the plug is inserted, the sealing member is in contact with a portion on a lower side of the spout part to form a sealing structure.
Dispensing closure
The present invention relates to a dispensing closure including a base and a cover attached to the base by a hinge and movable between an opened and a closed position. The cover includes an outer side-wall with a push-button region. The push-button region has, in a first position, a flat or convex outer surface and is adapted such that it can be pushed by a user at least partly in an inward direction from the first position into a second position. The push-button region has, in the second position, at least partly a concave outer surface.
CLOSURE FOR A CONTAINER AND COMPONENTS FOR A CLOSURE
A closing element (28) for restricting communication of a substance through an access passage (34) of a body (24) includes a first portion (68) for being removably affixed to the body (24), the first portion (68) having an inner wall (80), an outer wall (96) surrounding the inner wall (80), and at least one bridge (100) connecting the outer wall (96) with the inner wall (80). The closing element (28) has a second portion (72) for being non-removably affixed to the body (24) and a movable connecting element (76) extending between the first portion (68) and the second portion (72). The closing element (28) has an unactuated configuration wherein a major portion (78) of the length of the connecting element (76) is located laterally between the inner wall (80) and the outer wall (96) to shield the major portion (78) of the length of the connecting element (76).
User-friendly tamper-resistant/tamper-evident container-seal system for containers of consumer goods and methods of use
The inventive disclosures described herein pertain to an improved tamper-resistant/tamper-evident (TE) seal for containers of consumer/commercial product-containment vessels (such as, for example, prescription bottles, condiment bottles, etc.) that enables a user, and in particular older persons, to better grip and/or exert leverage to more-easily and reliably open such containers. In one embodiment of the improved TE seal, a typical prior-art seal configuration that features an inner seal with a small overlapping flexible pull-tab layer is improved by affixing the pull-tab to another substantially rigid upper layer such that a user can insert the pull-tab member between two of the user's fingers wherein the two user fingers are also disposed between the inner seal and the substantially rigid upper layer such that a user can more easily exert leverage/force to open the container that employs the tamper-resistant seal. This configuration is generally referred to as a “T-tab” configuration.
A CLOSURE ASSEMBLY COMPRISING A CAP WITH INTEGRATED TAMPER-EVIDENT RING AND STRAP
A closure assembly (1) comprising an article (10) with a tubular neck (11) and a cap (30) including an integrated tamper-evident ring member (50) and an integrated strap (70). The tamper-evident ring member is integrally formed to the lower edge (32c) of the skirt (32) of the cap and comprises an annular base portion (51) which is connected via one or more breakable bridges (53) to the skirt. The cap is a snap-on type cap and comprises a pair of wing-shaped handles (33) that each have, seen in side view thereon, an outer periphery (34) with a bottom side (34a), a top side (34b), and a tip (34c) remote from the skirt. The strap is integral at a first end (71) thereof to the annular base portion and at a second end (72) thereof to one of the wing-shaped handles and is adapted to remain connected to both the annular portion of the tamper-evident ring member and the respective wing-shaped handle upon removal of the cap from the neck of the article by the user.
IMPROVED USER-FRIENDLY TAMPER-RESISTANT/TAMPER-EVIDENT CONTAINER-SEAL SYSTEM FOR CONTAINERS OF CONSUMER GOODS AND METHODS OF USE
The inventive disclosures described herein pertain to an improved tamper-resistant/tamper-evident (TE) seal for containers of consumer-product-containment vessels (such as, for example, prescription bottles, condiment bottles, etc.) that enables a user to better grip and/or exert force/leverage to more-easily and reliably open such containers. Specifically, it features an improved seal-removal assembly that provides a collapsible finger-receiving aperture that allows a user to insert at least one user finger (or an elongated tool, such as a writing utensil), and exert upward force to breach the container seal.
Cap manipulator and cap assembly
A cap manipulator and a cap assembly are provided. The cap manipulator includes a first airbag member, a second airbag member, and an airstream channel structure therebetween and enabling inner spaces of the first airbag member and the second airbag member to be communicated. If the second airbag member is squeezed, a volume of the first airbag member is greater than that of an insertion space, and if the second airbag member is not squeezed, the volume of the first airbag member is smaller than or equal to that of the insertion space.
Seal cover
A seal cover for sealing a filling tube of a container, includes a cover wall and a cover plate. An outer wall of the filling tube is provided with external threads; the seal cover includes an inner cover body and an outer cover body; the cover wall encloses a barrel structure, with one end sealed by the cover plate, and the other end being an open end; an inner surface of the cover wall is provided with internal threads matched with the external threads of the filling tube; a boss is formed on an end face of the open end of the inner cover body; the filling tube is provided with a wedge block; the external threads of the filling tube and the internal threads of the inner cover body are screwed with each other.
