SOFT CHUG LID FOR BEVERAGE CONTAINER
A lid assembly for a beverage container is provided. The lid assembly has a lid base, a mouthpiece and a lid dome. The mouthpiece is connected to the lid base and has an extended annular member with a first end and a drink aperture extending through a center of the annular member. The lid dome is pivotally connected to the lid base and pivots between an open position and a closed position. The lid dome has a protrusion that extends from an inner surface of the lid dome, and a seal surface that operates to seal against the first end of the annular member of the mouthpiece to close the drink aperture when the lid dome is in the closed position. The protrusion is generally seated within the drink aperture when the lid dome is in the closed position.
SOFT STRAW LID FOR BEVERAGE CONTAINER
A lid assembly for a beverage container is provided. The lid assembly has a lid base, a mouthpiece and a lid dome. The mouthpiece is connected to the lid base and has a first end having a generally flat surface that is provided at an angle to the top surface of the lid base, a second end adapted to receive a straw, and a drink aperture therethrough. The lid dome is pivotally connected to the lid base and pivots between an open position and a closed position. The lid dome has a protrusion that extends from an inner surface of the lid dome. The protrusion has a seal surface at an angle to the top wall to seal against the first end of the mouthpiece to close the drink aperture when the lid dome is in the closed position.
SCREW CLOSURE WITH CONTROLLED SEAL
The invention concerns a plastic closure for fitting on to the neck of a liquid container in positively locking and sealed relationship comprising a head plate (1) provided for covering a container opening and an outer seal (7) which is circumferential along the edge of the head plate (1) and is provided for engagement with the outside of a container neck (20) defining the container opening, and an inner seal (5) which is circumferential within the outer seal (7) and parallel thereto and which is provided for engagement with the inside of the container neck, wherein the outer and the inner seals (7, 5) respectively extend approximately perpendicularly or slightly inclined from an inside (11) of the head plate (1). To provide a closure and also a container having a closure which generally prevent the closure being blown off under a high positive pressure it is proposed according to the invention that the outer seal (7) has a weakened region (6, 6, 6) in at least one circumferential portion so that the outer seal (7) becomes unsealed at a lower internal positive pressure than when the outer seal is of a configuration without the weakened region.
Composite Articles of Lattice Reinforced Elastomers
A composite article includes a lattice and an elastomeric section. The lattice includes a plurality of members that form an open-mesh frame defining a plurality of voids between the adjacent members of the frame. The elastomeric section is formed of an elastomer that is disposed about the lattice and within the voids of the lattice. The composite article may be a circular gasket, a gasket with a grip, a rectangular gasket, a vessel cap, a flask stand, and a handle for a hand tool.
TAMPERPROOF BEVERAGE CONTAINER WITH ROTATABLE LID, AND METHOD OF ASSEMBLING AND UNSEALING SAME
A tamperproof beverage container unsealed by rotation of a lid is disclosed herein. In a general example embodiment, the beverage container includes a body configured to seal a beverage therein, the body including at least a top surface, the top surface including a main surface and at least one sealing surface covering at least one body aperture, and a lid configured to at least partially cover the top surface of the body, the lid including at least one projection which unseals the at least one sealing surface to reveal the at least one body aperture when the lid is rotated with respect to the body.
Aerosol dispenser
An aerosol dispenser comprising a pressurised aerosol can and a closure comprising an aerosol valve held within a retention chassis, the retention chassis being associated with a flexible sealing collar designed to radially surround the retention chassis and to seal against the edge of an opening in the aerosol can, wherein the retention chassis is axially moveable relative to the sealing collar and wherein the sealing collar is of outer diameter greater than the inner diameter of the opening in the aerosol can and is sufficiently flexible to flex through the opening in the aerosol can when the retention chassis is in a first axial position relative to the sealing collar and wherein the sealing collar is firmly held against the edge of the opening in the aerosol can when the retention chassis is in a second axial position relative to the sealing collar.
METHODS OF OVERMOLDING SOFTER MATERIAL WITH HARDER MATERIAL AND MOISTURE TIGHT CONTAINER ASSEMBLIES MADE BY THE METHODS
A method of over-molding materials includes: providing a first material in a groove in a first portion of a mold such that only a single surface of the first material is exposed to a vacant portion of the mold; providing, via an injection molding process, a second material in a liquid form in the vacant portion of the mold adjacent to, and in engagement with, the first material; and allowing the second material to solidify and become directly coupled to the first material, thus forming a single component. During the method, the entire single surface of the first material is flush with a plane defined by outer surface of the first portion of the mold. The second material has one or both of a greater hardness when solidified than the first material and/or a higher melting temperature than the first material.
SEAL COVER
A seal cover for sealing a filling tube of a container, includes a cover wall and a cover plate. An outer wall of the filling tube is provided with external threads; the seal cover includes an inner cover body and an outer cover body; the cover wall encloses a barrel structure, with one end sealed by the cover plate, and the other end being an open end; an inner surface of the cover wall is provided with internal threads matched with the external threads of the filling tube; a boss is formed on an end face of the open end of the inner cover body; the filling tube is provided with a wedge block; the external threads of the filling tube and the internal threads of the inner cover body are screwed with each other.
CLOSURE DEVICE FOR A CONTAINER
A closure device for a container having a container opening has a lid element for closing the container opening, a chamber associated with the lid element, and an inner housing. The chamber and the inner housing also have closure and opening devices corresponding to one another and which interact with one another so that a fluid housed in the chamber can exit into the container due to a movement of the lid element relative to the inner housing. The chamber has a free-projecting closure edge annularly surrounding a central axis of the chamber which, when in use, is positioned in the inner part of the container, and which interacts with the inner housing in the closed state. The inner housing forms a chamber base delimited by the closure edge. The chamber base is formed such that it slopes towards a free end of the closure edge.
DISPENSER PACKAGE WITH FLIP-UP LID AND METHOD OF MAKING THE SAME
