VENTILATED LID FOR INSULATED CONTAINER

A lid for an insulated container comprises a flexible gasket configured to facilitate a seal between the lid and an inner wall of the insulated container, and further configured to expand into an interior compartment of the insulated container responsive to a vacuum developing in the interior compartment. A diaphragm chamber is situated opposite the flexible gasket from the interior compartment when the lid is fully engaged with the insulated container. One or more air channels couple the diaphragm chamber to an exterior of the lid. The development of a vacuum in the interior compartment of the insulated container draws a force on the flexible gasket, thereby reducing pressure in the diaphragm chamber. The negative pressure in diaphragm chamber is back-filled with external air, which enters the lid via the air channels. The lid may then be removed without excessive vacuum forces.

RECLOSABLE CAN ENDS

A device including a lid body including a connection end, a top end having an opening therein, a pouring spout body encompassing the opening, and, a stem body including an internal housing configured to hold an ion exchange resin-filed cartridge therein, a cap region, collar, a beverage conduit, and a stem body air tube. The cap region configured to couple to the connection end of the lid body to thereby form a first liquid-tight seal coupling between the connection end of the lid body and a top end of the ion exchange resin-filed cartridge, and, form a second a liquid-tight seal coupling between a base region of the internal housing and a bottom end of the ion exchange resin-filed cartridge. First and second collar wall portions sized to fit inside a mouth of a beverage container and to be located outside of the mouth. The beverage conduit spans the collar with a first and second openings to the base region and an interior of the beverage container. The stem body air tube extends through the collar with proximal and distal openings to an air vent hole located in the second portion of the collar wall and to the interior of the beverage container.

Lid with actuator for valve assembly

A portable spittoon may be a single use item which has a pivoting closed lid for at least some embodiments. Some embodiments may have internal structure(s) to resist spilling and/or emptying the contents while accepting new fluid/material therein until satisfactorily full. Opposing arms may connect to a lid which pivots about a pivot axis through pivots connected to the arms.

WATERPROOF PRESTRESSING STRUCTURE OF WATER BOTTLES OR CUPS
20200369437 · 2020-11-26 ·

A waterproof prestressing structure of water bottles or cups, which mainly has a first main body and a second main body, and one surface of an elastic body is integrally provided on the first main body. When the first main body and the second main body are screwed to connect with each other, since the one surface of the elastic body is fixed on the first main body, the one surface of the elastic body connected to the first main body does not deform, and only another surface that contacts the second main body deforms, so that the elastic body does not excessively deform in a tight state, thereby reducing twist or damage of the elastic body caused by screwing. The elastic body is integrally provided on the first main body, so that there is no gap between the elastic body and the first main body.

SYSTEM, APPARATUS AND METHOD FOR REMOVABLE LIDS
20200361668 · 2020-11-19 ·

The present invention is directed to the system, apparatus and method for removable lids to enable users to install a lid to a container, and especially manufactured fiber (MF) containers and create a tamper resistant seal. In one embodiment of the present invention, the detachable lid includes a mounting member and a cover. A locking mechanism may be employed to secure the cover and mounting member to one another in a tamper resistant manner. The removable nature of the lid allows different types of material to be used when the lid and the container are manufactured together. For example, the lid may be made of a rigid material, while the container may be made from less expensive and more environmentally safe containers made from molded fiber and similar lightweight but less rigid biodegradable materials.

Opening Mechanism for a Container
20200360769 · 2020-11-19 ·

An improved and safer opening mechanism for a pressurized container is provided that includes a synchronous relationship between a safety cap and a sealable plate, such that the safety cap covers the sealable plate when it is removed from the container.

Sealable Container System
20200354115 · 2020-11-12 ·

A sealable container system contains a body and a lid assembly. The body includes an internal volume defined by bottom and side wall(s), bump(s) on the inside surface of the side wall and projecting toward the internal volume, and a lid with outer and inner walls at its bottom side with a channel in-between. A gasket couples to the lid with a wall portion residing within the channel and a lip outside the channel. When the lid assembly is pressed into the body, the lip of the gasket engages the bumps and deforms, and a gap forms between the lip and the side wall, where air in the internal volume exits through the gap. When the lip of the gasket travels past the bumps, the lip fully seats against the inside surface of the side wall, where negative air pressure is imparted to the internal volume of the body.

ENERGY CONSERVATION DAMPER MECHANISMS FOR USE IN CONJUNCTION WITH FOOD PREPARATION OR FOOD STORAGE EQUIPMENT

Damper mechanisms are provided in conjunction with housings of various different appliances and are disposed at first positions at which the dampers effectively close off or seal the interior regions of the appliances within which various heated, refrigerated, or frozen environments have been established. Such damper mechanisms can be moved to second positions so as to permit food items to be inserted into, or extracted from, the various housings of the appliances, but will automatically return to their first positions so as to again close off or seal the interior regions of the appliances. In this manner, thermal energy is preserved whereby the appliances are enabled to operate at peak energy efficiency.
